Great sushi! – My daughter and I wanted to try a sushi restaurant that we have never been to before. I found NOA on Citysearch and decided to give it a try for lunch today.
When we got there at about 12:45, there was only a group of ladies seated at a table. I almost thought the sushi bar was closed. We were told that wwe could sit where ever we wanted. We sat at the sushi bar, with David, the chef/owner doing his magic right in front of us.
We ordered Miso soup and Edamane and then the NOA roll. We received our Garlic Edamane-which was so tasty. We munched on the whole bowl throughout our meal. We received our NOA roll before the Miso Soup came, but that wasn't a big deal to me. The soup was very tasty. Not too salty and tasted homemade. The NOA roll had a side jalapeno sauce that was awesome and you could add as little or much as you like. Sushi seemed very fresh!
Our next roll was the seared salmon roll with lime. The lime was sliced very thin on each piece of the roll and added a great taste to the wonderful roll.
We also got to try a bit of the seared ahi and panko crumbed albacore. They were both fabulous. David, the sushi chef/owner kept his eye on the restaurant making sure every one was taken care of. Throughout our meal the restaurant became pretty full for a late lunchtime.
David was fun to chat with as he was working constantly to keep the service smooth. My diet coke and water never were empty.
I can't wait to go there again and am getting hungry just writing about this yummy gem.
Best sushi I've had in a long time – I ate at NOA's sushi for the first time and it was very good. The sushi was unique and not your typical boring sushi. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
The owner made his own creation of sushi with tasty sauces to go with the sushi, it was SO good. I would recommend NOA's to all sushi lovers and will definitely be back for some more sushi.
No other like NOA! – Noa's sushi is such a wonderful place that stands out in the sea of Fullerton's bars and restaurants. My coworker and I stopped in for lunch and had a great time along with a delicious meal. Be sure to try the Seared Salmon with Lime it is delicious.
AMAZING – I have been a patron of NOA’s since December and have completely fallen in love with their food. My absolute favorite is their signature roll, the NOA roll, with seared Ahi on top and a spicy jalapeño sauce. YUM! Their service is outstanding and the chefs are incredible. David and Akira strive to make their customers happy and it shows. Their passion for food is only surpassed by their candor with their customers. They treat you well from the moment you walk in the door and it makes you want to come back, time and time again.
I am so glad they opened! They have become my one and only sushi stop.
