Terrible Bar – Would rate this as zero stars if it were an option. Not one good thing to say about this place. I have to agree with other reviews that said the manager agreed to one thing and delivered another. The Willow Lounge is over crowded, over priced, and definitely NOT the next hot spot in NYC.

Worst Place Ever – AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL SPOT. We set up a Halloween party and the owner/manager promised way too much and didn't deliver on any of it. What's worse is that we told them how many people we were expecting, around 80+, which really is the limit on how many people can fit comfortably in there but they booked 2 more parties anyway. So...with all 3 parties going on, the line out the door caused a lot of people in our party not to get in. A lot of our party that did get in were miserable from how crowded it was and wanted to leave. We had an optional open bar for 3 hours for $50. The manager was trying to make everyone pay for it and not tell them it was an option. This was in complete contradiction to what we agreed on. Those who wanted to do the open bar option were held up in getting in and did not get the full 3 hours of the open bar....so poor.

We were promised an area with bottle service, which they gave away to another party. All of our jackets, bags, and personal belongings were thrown in a corner. FYI - there is no coat check here. There are also only two single person bathrooms in the bar. With how overcrowded they let this bar become, the line for the bathroom was excessive... about a 20 minute wait.

The service was awful...only 2 bartenders on an open bar so getting a drink was a pain in the a$$. One of the bartenders lost it and kept telling us she was going to quit. With the lack of bartenders + too many people due to 3 parties = the place coming off being very cheap. I understand the need to make $$$, but not at the expense of the image of the place. This place is trying to be the next hot spot but it comes off as crap.

I never write reviews but I hope that people looking to plan a party take note of what I wrote and not plan a party here...you'll get promised the world but this place just doesn't care about how good a time you have...its concerned about the bottom line and thats it. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, all we experienced was rude service and a horrible night. We all relocated to a dive bar around the corner and had a lot more fun.

LOVE the new Willow Lounge – I just went to the Willow Lounge last weekend with some friends. It was such a fun and cool new place, and there were so many people there! I wish I had gone for dinner because everyone I talked to said the food was great! I guess I will just have to go back again.

The drinks were reasonably priced and tasted great, I really think they have some pro bartenders there.
