Great – I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Green Apple Cleaners. I appareciate how eco-friendly they are, they seem to truly be concerned with the environment and making it a better place. Plus, they offer home delivery! Perfect for my hectic schedule. A friend of mine said that you can get $100 worth of laundry done for just $50 right now on buywithmeNYC, too! Such a great deal. Here's the link: htt p://bit.ly/c7j9ox
The best of the best – I had a great experience with this dry cleaners. I dropped off and picked up so I can't speak for their delivery. I left a thick handknit wool coat in for cleaning and it came back looking better than when I bought it! I was reluctant to leave this coat in for cleaning because I adore it and didn't want to risk damaging it so I was delighted with the results. I also really admire the green approach to dry cleaning. Also, i love that they offer free pick up and delivery service. Overall I've had an awsome experience with them.
The Real Green Clean! – Staff have always been extremely pleasant and prices are reasonable. And don't forget, you're doing the right thing by choosing non-toxic dry cleaning (these are the bona fide guys, as opposed to the "me-too" greenwash folks who put up a sign in their window saying their chemicals are "organic").
The guy who gave it one star is probably one of those entitled whackjobs who can't be pleased by anyone.
Green Apple Cleaners is the best! – I love Green Apple Cleaners! Super convenient, very flexible and great quality & service.
I live in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and they're always great about sending someone for pick-up and drop off when it's convenient for me. I typically have someone stop by in the morning, but have also had pick-ups/deliveries done on weekends with ease as well.
As for the service - it's top notch! I've used them for dry cleaning, shirt laundry and wash & fold. My clothes always come back clean, neat, well folded and put together. Plus Amy, the manager at this location, is fantastic! Always very friendly when I speak to her on the phone.
Give Green Apple a try!
The talk of the town – Remember back when Thirtysomething was the show everyone was talking about?
I distinctly remember when Hope was talking about dioxon and dry cleaning bags being around forever. I had been meaning to check out Green Apple because I don't enjoy smelling or knowing that crazy toxic chemicals have been used to clean my clothes.
a brief digression-by law (I think) a company is only required to put one cleaning directive in a label so obviously there are tons of outfits you should not even THINK of cleaning yourself. On the other hand there may be some things you could do yourself and save money. Kal Ruttenstein the late creative director of Bloomingdale's stated on fashion TV once that by and large people dry clean FAR too often which ultimately ruins your clothes-some things to consider.
I brought a suit and two dresses to Green Apple and intrepid Citysearchers guess what I had a Groupon worth $35 I was very pleased I only had to cough up $4 when I came to pick the stuff up. It is a little extra trek for me but totally worth it!
