Great Food, Great beer choices – Great place to watch the game. So many beer choices, and great food! My friends and I meet here almost every week during basketball season to watch all the games. Great place!

Great variety of food and beer – My husband and I go here for lunch on Sundays. Everything we have tried on the menu has been really good. The food is priced reasonably, but the beer is a little high, but they do have a large selection.

I would agree with others that a few times we have had slow service, but since we go on the weekend, it hasn't been an issue and it's generally not that crowded when we go. I would say go if you're not in a rush and have time to hang out, watch the dozens of flat screens and enjoy a beer.

Don't Waste Your Time – My spouse and I went to Taco Mac during my lunch hour from work. We arrived at 12:50. We were immediately seated and then left alone for 20 minutes. I had to stop another server from another area and ask him if he could find our server. He was nice enough to take our food and drink order. After 35 minutes, our server finally came over with our drinks. My spouse ordered lemon pepper wings with Hot Sauce on the side. I ordered the Hickory Burger. Our food finally arrived after waiting 50 minutes total. My spouse requested sauce for his wings three times from three different servers and never received it. I asked for ketchup for my burger and never received it. I also requested my bill when the food was brought to our table and did not get it for another 20 minutes. The manager was walking around asking people if they drove a Beige Acura, but was rude and did not greet people or have any kind of positive customer interaction. Needless to say, they caused me to be late getting back to work. We will never, ever eat here again. The food is not bad, but the service is horrible. The only thing good I could say is that they have a lot of beer selections and might be a good place to go to hang out at night or on the weekends, if you can get someone to serve you. Also, I noticed the bar tender sneezing and not covering her mouth or washing her hands. We eat out for lunch every single day and my co-workers take my advice on places to eat, so they have already lost a lot of business. Don't waste your time here.

Be Ware – This is a sad excuse for a restaurant. Our wait was long, the server was absent for the most part of the night. The worst part of our evening was management, who was very insulting and rude. Customer service is very poor in this place and the food quality is average. I would not recommend Taco Mac to any one unless you plan on sitting at the bar for drinks.

Good Food... Service Could be better.. Great Beer Selection, – Great Sports Bar... Plenty of Seating with lots of TV's.... The selection of Beer on Tap is amazing and there are a few tables that have taps installed which means you never have to wait for a beer... Unless you have a server

We went out for MNF and went the entire second half plus another 30 minutes before our server asked us if we wanted another beer or close our tab.

Great Beer Wall, but they need to flush the taps occasionally. I've had stale beer and metallic tasting beer.

THE WINGS: The HOT is a SOLID MEDIUM wing... No complaints great taste.. not a pigeon wing.. but every bit of flavor from a great medium wing.. could be crispier

THE DEATH WING: Is a Good HOT/Sweet wing. Great Flavor Profile, but the upcharge and calling it DEATH is way.. way... way... over hyped... Great wing.. but not worthy of the hype

Unacceptable Service – We all went on a tuesday night at about 9:00pm with a party of 6. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, we were able to sit down right away. Our waiter was great, but there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between the bar and the servers. Every beer we ordered took at least 15 minutes to arrive, and most of the time we had to ask twice for them. Everybody's food at the table was lukewarm at best. We got water to drink with our beer, and it tasted like pool water, they should really filter their water. Towards the end of the night we talked to the manager, told him our complaints, and he apologized, but that didn't change the slow service...it still took another 10 minutes to get our beer. You'd think the staff would be more knowledgeable with a place that has so much beer, but their knowledge is lacking. Taco mac is Atlanta is much better.

And where are the beer specials?? Oh wait, there are none....ever.

Things they should improve upon:

-Faster service.

-Beer should try and come all at once, so others in your party don't have to watch you drink.

-Food should be hot

-Beer specials!--it really helps people explore new beer when it's offered at a cheaper price, as well as get rid of beer that never moves.

Tons of TV's, Lots of Beers, Unprepared Staff, Ehh Food – First off I am only giving this place three stars because it's something new and innovative in the South Park area. Most people don't see South Park as a destination for sports bars, but this is why it may be a success, the only one really of it's kind in the area.

As soon as you walk in, it's easy to be overwhelmed by the massive amount of televisions. I'd say there were at least 100 televisions in the restaurant. It's quite large and has sections in the bar area/dining room and a lofted dining area. One thing that gives a bad impression upon walking in is that if it is semi crowded, it's awkwardly cramped and not really any room to wait for a table without getting in servers, hostess' or patrons way.

Now to the dining experience. I'm not really sure where to start, I left confused. After waiting about 30 minutes for a table (no problem there) we were seated as we waited for a few friends to join us at a table of 8. We had previously got a beer at the bar and as we were finishing we ordered another from the waitress. They had a special (think they do this every month) where you get a nice glass with a special beer purchase. We were ID'd for the second time at this point (note this).

After getting the beer we decide to order some wings and had the Hot and BBQ ones. Both were pretty good, nothing special. Could be a little crispier and they could get a few more flavors, but nonetheless a decent wing. As the other reviewer stated you had the choice of fries or celery. I opted for celery but if you chose fries, you get celery as well..so really doesn't make a difference I guess.

Once the other guests showed up, the manager came over and asked for our ID's all again with the waitress standing there. We complied, not sure what the problem was but it was a quick, here ya go, you're good to go thing...Then about 30-40 min later, another manager came up to us and said, hey the waitress is new (aren't they all?) and that he wasn't sure we were of age. He asked for the ID's again and we we're puzzled how a group of 27-30+ yr olds need to be carded 4 times during dinner. After waiting for 20 minutes for each beer we ordered, this was just adding salt to the wound and the dining experience continued heading south.

After we had enough of this experience we decided to order the checks. It was about 945 at this time. The waitress was gone for over 25 minutes trying to figure out the checks. She was calling managers over, and not once did anyone come over to us and say sorry for the delayed wait time, we're having trouble or whatever the reason. Just avoided our table outright. When we did get the checks, some were wrong but in an effort to get out of there we just paid the minimal differences and left.

I don't really know where to peg this on my list of worst first dining experiences but it's giving me a lot of reasons to be up near the top. I don't get why new restaurants, especially in an affluent area like South Park, think that they can breeze by with handing out mediocre service and product. The wait time for drinks is far too long. The list of beers is huge, but its the bartenders who are pouring them, who also have to get them for every other table as well as the people at the bar...not a efficient set up.

I'm going to give it another shot one day here because I like what they are bringing to the table atmosphere-wise...But the service definitely needs to come up a few notches.

Overpriced Fast Food Joint – Piedmont Row had some class and elegance once-upon-a-time. This restaurant is an eyesore with it's huge shiney plastic awning. Looks kinda like a fast food joint. Does it glow in the dark?

Food is decent - staff unfriendly.

Flat Screen central...huge beer selection, weak service – In short: Taco Mac has a lot of upside to it....tons of flat screens, over 100 beers on tap, large space, outdoor dining, southpark location, good menu...whatever. Only reason for the lack of stars is the service (I know they're still learning so I’ll be gentle). I had wings and tried the Hot and Habanero BBQ sauces. Both were decent and could use a bit of a bigger wing, but not the worst. I was pleasantly surprised when they said Fries come with the wings...interesting.

I will give them another shot for a more detailed description b/c all I just mentioned above, but with all the new Tex-Mex & Mexican restaurants coming into South Park, someone has to provide some good service, right!?
