Do yourself a favor...keeping looking for other hotels. Wow...for the price me and my family paid this was no better than a Motel 6 or Dew Drop Inn. The staff were incredibly snobby, when my wife came down to the desk to inquire about the broken heater in our room she was given a long sigh and a nice eye roll. This was our first visit to Seattle and we were so excited. The rest of the vacation was terrific, so it was unfortunate that our accomodations were so badly chosen. I only write this to warn others, not simply to complain for complaining sake. Come on, guys you can do better.
Rooms with endless views. The Westin Towers must be the hotel that offers the best views of Seattle. These rooms are comfortable. They are fully equiped with Heavenly Beds and Bath. As well as a convenient minibar. The Lobby Bar is very open and provides a great atmosphere for conversation. The knowledgable Concierge has all of the right recommendations. And they're tuned into the community. While visiting Seattle, between sightseeing, relax with the best views of Seattle.
Seems outdated. Stayed overnight here over Christmas holidays in 2005. Nothing special, which I expect at the Westin. We always stay in the downtown Portand (Oregon) Westin and LOVE it. But Seattle's Westin is nothing special. In fact, it seems old and almost rundown. The one redeeming quality is the view - we stayed on one of the upper floors and had a view of the Space Needle - just breathtaking. And the proximity to shopping (Pacific Place, Nordstrom, etc) can't be beat.
Lousy place for a drink. I've been here several times, and it's always the same. Lousy service. Overpriced drinks. Loud, noisy space. Often kids screaming and running around. The space is sterile. Head into Belltown and find a better place.
Exceeding all expectations. May 2005 Why no reviews since 2003? And the first two reviews must have been from comatose patrons. This property was all good . . . even the skywalk connected self parking was a treat for a change!! I visited the second floor restrooms without a notice. I also had non refundable reservations and KNEW IT, but certainly was not interested in changing. The 43rd floor room was quiet, relaxing, spotless and with a marvelous view! Bed and bath were as advertised . . . heavenly! The staff was prompt and courteous Having all this at the Priceline price of $90.00 was truely having it ALL! A perfect long Memorial Day vacation in the Emerald City!!!
not worth the price. I stayed at the Westin Seattle on 02/15/05. The room was booked online for 169.00 plus room taxes. It was a nice sized room, nothing lavish. The bed linens were above average, but the bed was as hard as a rock. The Heavenly Bath they smatter their website with, consists of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Oh yes I forgot there's a towel too. theres a regular tub, nothing jetted here. There was discoloration on the ceiling from a water leak maybe. There was mold along the shower tile, and above the toilet. The clerk said "well the north tower is under renovation." So I do not recommend the Westin Seattle for the price.
This comfy bar soothes travel-weary souls while retaining an ideal location to goings on downtown..
The Scene
The Lobby Bar's ambience is surprisingly warm. The sunken couches and chairs are heavenly -- just like your living room, if your living room is well-lit, with gorgeously high ceilings. Patrons are a mix of young and old. Expect the occasional lascivious leer or tired pick-up line from a few of the patrons.
The Draw
The bar is amazingly well-stocked with a bevy of wines, single-malt Scotches and dessert aperitifs. The late-night menu is served until 1am and features ribs, crab cakes and Brie with fruit. Satisfy your sweet tooth with the dreamy chocolate pyramid--a concoction of mousse, caramel, chocolate icing and cookie crust. The Hot Apple Pie (spiced cider, Tuaca, whipped cream) beats anything Mom makes. Service is generally excellent.
wish I could live there. this hotel is heavenly. The views are among the best in Seattle. I stayed on the 25th floor, it was spectacular. The room was spacious, and the heavenly bed was sooo comfortable, it was hard to leave. The pool & hot tub are great, over looks downtown Seattle with a huge sky light. I can't wait to stay there again.
second floor bathrooms are great!. this hotel is the worst i've encountered the employees are rude and security personell stopped me and told me not to use the second floor bathrooms(which are for public use)what are they trying to prove! maybe i went to use the executive restrooms by accident you'd think they have better things to worry about than to watch the executive restrooms hehehehe! maybe security was having a bad hair day but i will tell my co-workers not to ever use the westin or starwood hotels and properties again.
Friendly service. This is the place to be after hitting the theatres nearby...relax, listen to the piano player, catch up on all the latest sports info from the Bartenders...best Long Island Iced Tea ever!
