FAKE REVIEW! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! SCAM! READ HERE! – BIGGEST SCAM! Stay away from this company (which is a not a real moving company, just taking orders and letting other worst companies ever to bid your job and then ripped you off!)
The original quote was $70 for 2 person and $85 for 3 person with a minimum 3 hours. Free 10 boxes and wrapping your furniture, and the price includes sales tax and travel time to your place. Everything sounds perfect!
The guy showed up late (1 ½ hour later), they made you sign all papers in a hurry which I didn’t have time to read them all during the moving. They used up as much as the taping, boxes, wrapping plastic materials…..all charged up $300 for material cost.
They refused to unload your items until you let them authorize your credit card, they demanded for one hour travel time, 5% for using credit card, sales tax and they couldn’t show any written agreement papers with the extra charges. For a small one bedroom to another one bedroom, cost me over $1200. The truck moving company is Abbey Road (Abbeyroadmoving dot com) and the paperwork shows Lion Van Lines (based in Miami, FL). The lead guy told me I can call the customer service the next day for any dispute, but good luck with that! They just hang up on you and super rude people!!
I check with BBB, all rated F. Check out at MovingScam dot com, for all the horrible stories! They used the name of Baltimore Best Movers, it made you think it is a local moving company. They are NOT! I am sure they have every city name plus Best Movers in each city to scam everyone! Do not trust the positive reviews online, they are FAKED!
Best way to find a reliable, honest moving company, ask someone you personally know (neighbor, realtor, coworkers, friends, etc.). Don’t trust online review, PERIOD! My big mistake to warn everyone here! Good luck guys!

absolutely recommendable! – Back in June the contract in my apartment was about to expire so I was looking for a good moving company. I researched sometime in the internet, yellow pages etc. After calling a few, I realized that the lady from the customer service agent from this company was different than the others I called before. Always friendly, had an answer for all my questions or at least knew who to ask or where to look for it a.s.a.p. The price the offered me for my 2 bedroom move was way lower than the other estimates I got so far so I decided to schedule the move. The night before I received a call from the manager to verify one last time the pick-up address and the direction of the destination so that everything would work fine. The move was scheduled for 8.30am and the movers already arrived with 3 guys at 8.10am so we won a little time thanks the early arrival. They packed and loaded my stuff really quick and you could see immediately that they knew what they were doing. At the destination the unwrapped and unloaded my stuff and put them in the decided places, all this really quick and professional. After I had my stuff and was able to verify that nothing got damaged I paid the bill in the easiest manner with my Visa card.
All in all I can say that it was a very good choice to hire this guys! Friendly stuff, fast work, best price and skillful movers. Communications was also great, so I can recommend these guys without any doubts at all! Thanks for the great job!
I would hire them again, easy move no complications! – Hiring a professional mover for the first time, I was a little anxious and skeptical. But since my company was paying for it, I wanted to make it as easy as myself as possible. First, I called around getting estimates. Most of the professional movers were about the same price for the 2 bedroom apartment worth of contents I had to be moved over 1,000 miles. It took a little while to understand all of the fine print like the binding and non-binding estimates, as well as insurance and limitations of liability. I opted to go with this company. The gentleman was very courteous and prompts with the phone calls and faxes, and explained everything fairly well to me. I had a lot of questions, and most of them were answered quite well. I decided to pack my own things since they would be stored in a storage unit prior to being moved. If moving things from or to a storage unit, choose a unit that is easily accessible to an 18-wheeler. I had a 20x10' unit pretty much full. I didn't get insurance since I didn't have anything too valuable and felt that I packed everything very well myself. I was given a 2-day window for pickup and a 5-day window for drop-off. I was told they would call for instructions the day before and so they did. Great communication and everything worked out extremely well for pickup. For loading, the driver and worker did very well while a family member watched. For drop-off, the driver had excellent communication, and I was able to fax maps to the driver to aid in the 18-wheeler-unfriendly roads in my area. The driver arrived on the first day of the 5-day drop-off period, at the planned time. The driver and worker were professional and courteous and everything was handled with great care. My furniture didn't appear to have any additional wear. I was most worried about a nice bedroom suite, but careful inspection showed it made the move great. The only thing I did notice was the corner of one wall near the corridor appeared to have been scraped by some furniture, only requiring some touch-up painting.
Overall, a very good job.
great move – I've moved 3 times in the past, most of the time with different companies but I just had the best move in my life on the last week with this one. They gave us a very accurate estimate over the phone and help us plan our move. Soon their local dispatch called us and confirmed the job and went over the details. He also seemed very polite and professional, and assured us everything is going as it planed and the movers will come tomorrow @ 9 am. Not only did they show up on time but they packed nearly our entire apartment. Shortly after arriving, the Forman provided us with detailed information about the day and they started to work right away. Thank god they came with extra boxes and moving supplies and actually that we didn't even realize we will be needed! The packing obviously took much longer but once we arrived at our house they unpacked us in record time and even help us to reassemble some of our furniture. This was a painless move and really had a great time with the movers. The guys were very nice and honest and they couldn?t make the move faster and more efficient and I must say, we were extremely pleased with their service. Very fast, friendly and efficient and very professional company which I wouldn't hesitate to use again and highly recommend to everybody!

The moving team: Vlad (fluent with both Russian and Romanian) and George. The team arrived 5 minute before the scheduled time. Assessed the actual volume in 5 min and accomplished the entire move in 5 hours with zero interference from my side. Both guys worked as ?wrapping-packing-moving-unwrapping? machines! Extremely impressive! I was really happy that I decided to hire them instead of doing this move myself (what I actually considered after reading all negativities about moving companies in this and couple of other forums). Bottom line: I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Let the team to wrap everything in blankets and fix it with scotch tape, - walls in your new place may say ?thank you? for that. b) In my opinion it is physically impossible for 2 movers to pack furniture only in 2-bed rooms apartment in 2 hours. 3 hours for packing should be used for estimation. c) Ask the customer service about pricelist for expenses you may have along the way (like scotch tape or boxes). It is good to know about them when you are budgeting your move.
HIGHLY recommended – I am very happy with the quality of work these Movers provided to our family. We left our home area for job relocation and have looked and looked for accredited moving companies that are certified and have great recommendations. This one came up to be one of the top. I contacted them and customer service was just amazing. Jim, the GM, helped me through the process, provided me a quote quickly explaining all costs related to my move. No hidden charges. All information was presented on the quote. I shopped around a little bit and many companies were not providing me with the full picture and were not honest about possible fees. Thanks to Jim, he gave me a few tips on what questions needed to be asked to have the true answer. When I asked these questions to the competitors, there were hesitant to answer. This is when I knew it could have been a possible scam. I chose this Moving Company and I am very happy with my choice. It was the best move I realized so far. outstanding – I just want to tell you about my move. A few weeks ago I got a good job offer in another city, so I started my research in the internet for a good Moving Company. After making many calls with estimates with a very different price range I finally talked to a very friendly customer service lady. She was very comprehensive and explained me all twice if needed. We agreed on a free visual estimate so a few days later 2 movers showed up to do a visual estimate. I thought that I would have to take off a complete day at work, but since they arrived even earlier than schedule and calculated really fast, I only lost a few hours and could go back to work. So I scheduled the move because they offered me the best price from all the estimates I got from the different moving companies. Two days before the scheduled day the manager called me to verify the address and confirmed the details of the move. The day of the move the 3 guys showed up on time and you could immediately tell that they knew what they were doing! They packed and loaded my whole stuff very fast and delivered it faster than expected to my new home! After verifying the new stuff, I realized that nothing got really damaged, just some minor scratches which were covered by the insurance. So no problems at all! Since I had no trouble at all, they offered the best price and it went all very quickly and smoothly, I don't hesitate to recommend them to anybody who is looking for a good moving company. All in all really a stress free move! Thanks for the great job!
DO NOT USE - SCAM – First of all, the address they use is not legit. 7 N calvert street is an apartment building called the munsey, that should have been my first clue that this place is a scam.
Used this company for a move. The guy on the phone said there is no minimum. My one bedroom apartment was moved in 3 hours but I was charged 4 hours on my card because the movers said that there was a 4 hour minimum. I refused to sign the statement but I was still charged for the 4 hour price.
When I tried to call back afterward, my calls kept getting sent to voicemail. It was only after I left a message stating that I would be taking action, that I received a call back, in which point the rep called me back, told me he would not refund my money because he never said that it was 4 hour minimum and hung up on me and refuses to answer my future calls.
Also, the charges show up as "Dawn Moving", which, if you research it, has several complaints about them, so I'm guessing they just changed their name.
