Awesome place, specially the Chinese. Get 4plates or so and share so you can get to taste them all.
I had gone to this place with my friends( some of whom had not tried Indian food) for lunch. We tried the buffet. The food was good specially the tandoori chicken and chicken korma. The garlic naan was nice.
The Biryani, lamb khorma and chicken tikka masala was delicious. I also tried the chinese food and really enjoyed the orange chicken and Mongolian beef. You definitely have to try this place!
Very good lunch buffet! Lots of Pakistani influence. Food is hot, rich and delicious. Try the naan with any masala! Yum! Service is fast and friendly. I'm coming back for more.
I must say excellent food, went tosan Diego for business must go to this place.
excellent food and service with very reasonable price. this is the place to go in san diego.
I went to this place with lowest expectation. Sandiego is a tourist place, unlike Silicon valley or Chicagot there are hardly any desi retaurants in sandiego. Yes, there are planty of Indian restaurants serving every dish in tomato puree. I though Bismillah will be one of them. Its a relatively low profile place with no decoration but plenty of space. It took roughly 20 minutes for our food to arrive, we ordered Lamb Karahi, Bismillah Special, Chicken Tikka Masala & tandoor platter. tandoor platter was as good as Shlimar (bay area), Lamb Karahi was the best we had, even better than Shalimar or Kabob and Curry. Chicken Tikka masal was average. Overall tasty food. Considering cost of living I was bothered by 15-20% higher prices. Given the aromatic food Bismillah served I did not even think about the price, in fcat I ended up giving $10 tip to server. I am told They have Islamic Chinese on Thu-Sun eveining. Next time I am in the area, I will definitely try chinese.
Bismillah Kabob-n-Curry server up authentic Pakistani Cuisines with tastes from every region of South East Asia. Last time we were there I had the Vegetable Jalfrezi. The mixed vegetables and spice mixture were perfect. It just had sooo much flavor. I also enjoy the Dal Makhani & Vegetable Kofta. I give BKC a big thumbs up. I recomend it to anyone who likes Indian and Southeast Asian food.
