I went to Gulliver's with low expectations due to the reviews on Yelp but when I got there I was very surprised with my salesman Eddie he was great I had called a few days earlier and told him what I was looking for and when I got there he had a few cars picked for me and my husband and I found the perfect car! We are very happy with them and the service for being a used car lot.
I was very happy with my car purchase at gulliver, everything went smoothly and the salesmen were polite and knowledgeable.
I came to Gulliver to buy a car to commute to school in.
I wanted something economical and nice, but I only had a few thousand dollars to put down. Gulliver helped me pick a really nice car and get a loan for it, too.
My monthly payments are no problem, and I have told all my friends to check Gulliver if they need a car because the people are nice and they can get you in a good car, no problem.

I bought a car from this unethical Company, I receive the car we had to jump it to get off the shippers truck, I drove it around the block it was smoking from an oil leak the brakes were metal to metal 95-100% worn per a certified mechanic who I had immediately inspected the vehicle the day it arrived. The Air conditioning was suppose to work per the Salesmen emails the Air conditioning has never worked and will require over 1,500.00 to repair.
I personally spoke with Jack the General Manager on several occasions prior to purchasing the vehicle who said the car was well maintained an 8.5. I paid cash they misspelled my name on all the documents never corrected them as promised. They didn't send the paperwork in the vehicle as promised so I couldn't even register it and had to pay a $75.00 fine.
When I brought all this to their attention I was laughed at by Jack and several of his Associates these are dishonorable men. I therefore was forced to filed a formal complaint with the California Department of Motor Vehicles regarding these issues and did finally receive the paperwork and was reimbursed for the serious safety issue with respect to the brakes as thy were in violation of the California safety standards.
I have requested to be compensated for the Air conditioning repair and again these requests are being ignored by these dishonorable men.
I will therefore be forced to take Gullivers USA, Inc. to small claims court and be further inconvenienced with costs and hassle as I live in Las Vegas.
I hope this place gets shut down but not before I take them to court.
I actually used them for both buying a new car and selling my old car. I consigned my Civic there, they told me the price might be a little high but they will make something happen, which it seems like they do. There were numerous people on the lot being help. I was helped by 2 Car Advisers there. They helped me consign my car and prepare everything to be ready to sell. 3 days later, I received a call from another Car Adviser asking me if I would take 300 off my asking price because there was a small engine leak. THEY CALLED ME!!!!! even though I gave them a high AND low price to sell my car, and this price the person was asking was right down the middle of both my prices, THEY STILL CALLED TO ASK IF IT WAS OK!!! soo I happily agreed.
Twice as happy – For more money that if I would have sold it myself. With the extra money that I made I was able to buy a nicer car and still have extra money left over. So they got my car sold and sold me a great car
Made it easy – I used Gulliver to sell my car and was very pleased with the results. Not too many places do consignment and I was happy to find such a place in Gulliver. All I had to do was drop off my car and it got sold right near the price I wanted in a couple of weeks. Once they completed all the paperwork I came in and picked up my check. Pretty easy if you ask me. Thanks for making a complicated thing much more easy on me.
I had purchased a vehicle at another dealership and it broke down on the way home! So I had to start all over again and I luckily Gulliver made the process pretty simple. I was so grateful not to have to deal with another broken down car. I saw that all their cars get inspected twice, so that felt good to be assured that way.
what else can you ask for? – It seems like most dealerships are the same, but Gulliver is different. I really felt taken care of by the staff and everyone was so helpful. I think it has something to do with the fact that they are a Japanese owned company because they really know how to treat the customers right. I got a good car and a good price and really
