Partake in the all-Italian wine list and crafted cocktails. – This casually swanky Piedmont Italian spot for bar bites and well-crafted cocktails is two parts design to one part practicality--to keep things light, the beautifully arched windows, candle-lit tabletops and recessed ceiling fans are juxtaposed with everyman elements like the free foosball table in the corner. What might come off as incongruent actually works well in the space, which is focused around a long, three-sided bar and the carefully crafted pisco sours, grapefruit gimlets and aperitifs that are produced behind it. A predominantly older crowd fills the seats--a combination of bar seating, cocktail tables and lower lounge chairs--to order up plates of the antipasti, pate and salumi that compliment the libations. And while you may not leave stuffed (after all, goat tongue terrine and farro salad only go so far), you'll definitely leave satiated.

Great new bright little cocktail (and salami?) bar – Nice new little place on the corner of Piedmont and Pleasant Valley (quickly becoming a decent east bay option). It's basically a wine bar type atmosphere with a good cocktail list and the longest list of salami (well they call it salumi) you'll ever see. I suggest you try the paninis though instead.

Good atmosphere. Upscale young crowd. Smallish. The kind of place if you're sick of Cesar. Enjoy
