Citysearch Editorial Review – Hidden on a nondescript stretch a few blocks east of bustling Colorado Boulevard, this Thai fusion eatery is surprisingly charming for a storefront. The space may be small, but it's stylized to the hilt. Walls are covered with empty frames, birdcages abound and a crystal chandelier hovers above. The exposed-brick wall, fresh orchids and antique mirrors lend the space a rustic-chic vibe. On the menu, popular Thai standards are offered alongside more creative cuisine like stir-fried pumpkin with egg and basil, and honey-marinated pork served with green apple salsa. Korean flavors find their way into the mix in the form of kimchi fried rice and a Korean rib eye, and you can start off with Indian roti pancakes with yellow curry. Lunch specials served with a salad are a good deal starting at $7, with around a dozen dishes to choose from. Daisy Salmon, broiled and served with a creamy cilantro sauce, will only set you back $10 at lunch, while a half portion of the grilled pork Daisy Back Rib is $11 (the full portion clocks in at $21 on the dinner menu). Beyond the eats, there's an impressive selection of teas, including whole leaf and flower blossoming tea, and ample organic options. Desserts include chocolate lava cake, pumpkin custard (served in the rind), fried banana roti and more.
