Awesome Jerk Chicken and Fried Chicken – I'm new to the neighborhood and have been to Dee's a couple of times already. Their fried chicken is the best i have had while in Chicago and their jerk chicken is up there too. smaller place but great outdoor seating when weather is nice. They have live music a couple times a week and good specials too. I'd recommend Dee's to anyone looking for good soul food.

Dee Dee Dee Dee DO NOT – WARNING: Went tonight, and issues included having our order get lost, a deafeningly loud blues band in a small space, overdone rib tips, institutional mac n' cheese, and greens so salty that they were inedible. Our table agreed that someone must of accidentally dumped in a whole box of Morton's onto the collards and didn't want to admit to the boss. The okra and chicken were good. Cornbread was borderline underdone. I actually fixed the toilet in the ladies' room by reaching in the tank and moving the lever -- then it worked. Overpriced for good home-style food. It's clearly a Mom-and-Pop shop and I want them to do well, but they need food service boot camp. Number the tables, write orders on a pad -- not scraps of paper then stuffed in a pocket. A couple across the aisle was futilely waiting for utensils once their entrees had arrived. The guy made a joke of eating rice with his fingers. A friend and I decided that it could be a good date place: it's so loud that you can't really talk to one another, and a twosome could bond over the wait, the instant-hypertension-greens, and other issues. And acoustic music only, please -- it's a twenty table joint, max.
