Comfort Food with a Fabulous Twist!. Love this new place! Opened last fall, I have visited with friends 4 times now - making it my new favorite place. The staff is knowledgeable and the food is killer. The format of the menu lets you order small, medium and large plates - so, it is a great place for meeting and sharing with friends. The roasted bone marrow is one of my favorites with an herbaceous chimichurri sauce - such buttery goodness! The grilled broccolini makes a great starter with shaved prosciutto, asiago cheese, breadcrumbs and a fried sunny side up egg. For an entree, the scallops are to die for, the shepherd's pie is perfect on a chilly evening and I have heard the burger is one of the best in OC. Fun cocktails, great vibe - I love this new addition to the Laguna Beach dining scene!

Nice romantic place. I came here the other night with my wife and it was a very romantic scene. We ate on the balconey where it seem to be a little more private. We were greeted with excellent service which lasted through the entire visit.

Great Service & Great Food. My husband and I walked in on a very busy Saturday night without a reservation. They were very accomodating. The manager came over to us and made room for us at the bar. She even told us about a secret place to park that would not cost us anything. She then offered us a bottle of wine at a highly discounted price. It was a New Zeland Sav Blanc, my favorite! She said she only had 3 bottles left and since they rotate their wine often, she wanted to know if we wanted to enjoy the bottle for a ridiculous price. The wine was great! Our food was excellent: fresh, quality ingredients. They made us feel at home and the ambiance was very cool as well. I can't wait to go back!

Secret Gem in Laguna Beach is no Longer a Secret. I am a big fan of Sorrento Grill and lately I find myself to make any excuse to go there for Happy Hour to Enjoy some Fine Wine and Martinis. My favorite is there Port selection. I got a Sweet Tooth and they take care of it for me. The service is always top notch!

Great Laguna Hot Spot. Last night my best friend Bill and I ate at the cooking bar and had a nice cozy spot all to ourselves. We shared the spincah salad which had some very interesting spinach...red colored...but the cheese crouton and dressing with candied walnuts made the salad delicious.

Bill had chicken and mashed potatoes which were reportedly delicious. I did get a bite of the potatos. I had the special tomatoes and cheese, can't remember the fancy name but it was fabulous.

For dessert, yes we had barely enough room, was an incredible french toast tiramisu with bananas and walnut ice cream!

Yum yum yum...have always liked this corner dining spot and it's still as good as when it first opened...although quite different with the creative touches and tastes of Chef Ryan Adams and Manager Lori McLean. Kudos to all!

LAGUNA'S FAVORITE. For me the no. 1 draw is the ambiance. This place feels so right and so Laguna casual elegance. A close second and first to most folks is the incredible dining experience with Wilhelm at the helm - no pun intended. Always fresh, beautifully prepared and smartly plated.

I love it

Wilhelm's back!!!. I love Sorrento! Now that David Wilhelm's back in charge, the restaurant has stepped it up a notch! The minute you walk in, the energy of the restaurant is a perk.

I love the paparadelle stroganoff. Sinful, but, soooooooo good. Glass of champagne? Makes for a perfect evening. I definitely will be a regular!

The Perfect Blend. With restaranteur David Wilhelm back at the helm, and Chef Ryan Adams in the kitchen, this Laguna Beach gem has been restored to its full luster. Offering a perfect blend of ambience, enough "noise" to keep things lively, friendly and professional service, and fantastic but not over the top food, Sorrento Grill offers the perfect blend for any dinner in Laguna. The new small plates and summer menu also make it more accessable than ever. Enjoy.
