Reviews for Nellcote

If you want to feel like a well-fed Keith Richards for one evening, this is the place for you. Nellcote is the brainchild of Jared Van Camp, the chef behind Old Town Social, and is inspired by the summer of '71, when the Stones recorded Exile on Main Street. Despite the hard rock cred, Van Camp serves serious food - he imported and assembled the first in-restaurant flour mill in Chicago to make his own pastas and pizzas. If you want to eat, grab a (relatively) quiet table around the perimeter. If your goal is to drink and be seen, stay in the middle of the restaurant and find someone to rock out with.

Nellcote is beautiful inside, but the pizzas (and brunch!) will keep you coming back for more.

Nellcote's amazing neopolitan pizza is made with passionate love - the flour is hand milled, the sauce from scratch, and the crust is crispy. Dining there is an experience in taste.

The dining room drips with luxe – The dining room at this Italian/French/other Euro mashup drips with luxe touches, bit menu is affordable. Try the house-milled flour in pizzas & pastas. Huge Belgian beer selection.

One of the hottest restaurants in town. You have to order the pizzas - they mill all of their own flour in the basement. It's a scene, so don't expect a quiet conversation, but you definitely won't be bored.

Nellcote's bread, pizza dough and pasta noodles are made in-house - from the restaurant's own house-milled flour. Can you say fresh?

Drinks are unique, lots of flavor here. Elegant interior and has an indie vibe to it. Menu has something for everyone, pastas are great!
