This is by far the most stunning dining room in the city right now. Super dark, with a romantic downstairs dining room complete with taxidermy, tattooed servers and delicious French bistro fare.
Hands down my favorite River North restaurant. Ask to sit downstairs, order up an Old Overholt Old Fashioned and work your way through the French-leaning steakhouse menu. Chocolate cream pie is a dessert must!
Bavettes is the sexiest room in town and boasts kick-ass, simply prepared steaks next to elegant salads and raw options.
Upstairs - a 1920s-era French saloon meets classic Chicago steakhouse with oysters, dry-aged chops, tartare and more. Also great for martini business dinners a la Mad Men. Downstairs, a quieter, secret lounge with cozy chairs, more accessible bar, great sazeracs.
