Absolutely LOVE this salon...especially Errin! – I have been going to this salon for over a year now. The atmosphere is totally relaxing, the people are sweet and accommodating and totally devoted to your comfort and salon needs.

Errin is an excellent colorist...has helped me through several difficult situations I've gotten myself into and I am always thrilled with the color and texture when she is done. VERY professional and knowledgeable about color and hair texture. When my hair was falling out from a diet I had been on, Errin used several products to improve the condition and recommended doing only a few highlights around the front and sides that time to ensure that she didn't do any further damage. She also used a color glossing to make it shine. Have had her color my hair 4 or 5 times in the year I've been going here and I am ALWAYS thrilled when I leave.

Derrick is the stylist I have been going to and he carefully consults with me to begin with, even before I am shampooed, to make sure he understands what I want and takes all the time I want to explain any suggestions he might have. The cut is always so well done that it is very easy for me to style myself at home and the cut grows out in such a way that it still looks good even if I wait a long time to go back!

And for the ultimate in manicures and pedicures, there is JOEY! Voted the best manicurist in Dallas several years in a row and all it takes is one visit to see why. He's a lot of fun to talk to also! A terrific person as well as the consummate professional!

Several of my friends and family members have been to this salon on my recommendation and no one has been disappointed yet. All have gone back over and over.

HORRIBLE - Worst Experience I have ever had – Where to start....First let me say.. I HAVE NEVER CRIED OVER HAIR! I am just not that type of person .

I have had to take a couple of weeks to absorb how horrible of an experience I had at Frederic Fekkai. I went to Fekkai because I was new to Texas and assumed that if I paid the money they must be excellent. I went to Brian - who opened the salon and was very pleased with what he did. Fast Forward a year and Brian has left the salon and I start going to Erin. She convinces me I need to go Dark Brown due to the hair loss and breakage from giving birth... As a blond - I was ready to get my hair to a healthy place and I commited to being a brunette for 4 months. After 4 months, I walk in, ready to go back to blond and Erin

( who never said that It would be a gradual process to go back to blond) States with the snottiest attitude .. "I can't do that". After going back and forth with her , I break it down for her and say "all I am asking is to be able to walk out of the salon and be described as a dark blond not a brunette" .. "I am not looking to go platinum". The conversation goes on for only 10 minutes.. my appt. was at 2:30 and at 2:40 she exclaims.. "I don't have time to do your hair now. You have to come back." I am in shock and in tears because I have never been spoken to with such hostility. I should have walked out -but I was going out in 4 hours and I have to get my hair done... I look at Erin and say - "You knew what color hair I had and that I wanted to go back to blond... and you allocated 45 minutes for my hair?"...."That makes no sense".. So they have Rachel ( who was $50 more expensive, which they didn't tell me until I went up to pay) try and come in and save the day. Rachel was a LOVELY person and if you still decide to go to Fekkai then stay as far away from Erin as you can and go to Rachel. In the end - I walked out of the salon a brunette and in tears and paid $330 for the experience.

Heads up Erin.. If you are turning a blond to a brunette...

A.) warn your client that they can not go straight back to blond and that it is a gradual process before you convince them to go brown.

B.) If your client comes in to the salon 2 months after going Brunette and is at that time desperate to go back to being a blond... don't convince her to stay brunette... start the gradual process then. What Rachel did on my hair could have been done in January to start the blond process it would not have ruined my hair.

C.) And finally last tip ..Remember - you are in the service industry - Your people skills are really lacking and you need to take some lessons. You are a hairdresser from Oklahoma.. Just because you are working for a upscale salon doesn't mean you can treat your customers with so much disrespect.

By - the way - if they follow-up with this post and say my hair was damaged and it would have fallen out - they are absolutely lying and can post the pictures from December to prove it.

They have lost a valuable customer in me and hopefully this review will dissuade future customers from entering their salon.
