I love smaller mom and pop shops. This place has a great selection from jazz, rock, hip hop and others. They are in good condition and if you can't find something just ask the employee, they'll find it for you.
Love this little vinyl shop! Their collection isn't huge, but it's well curated and chances are, you'll find out about something new to like if you browse. They also host great in store shows.
Vinyl shop stays open late for locals and post-Echo-goers – Unless you’ve been stuck under an iPod, you probably know that vinyl is back—in a big way. This small, friendly shop feeds the need with records that span the spectrum from indie rock to classic funk, soul and hip hop. Purists may whine about the all-new vinyl, but if you want used, there’s always Amoeba. The vibe here is a lot more personal, and owner Neil will order anything not currently in stock. Chalkboards behind the counter list new releases, selections that are coming soon and upcoming shows at the Echo, Echoplex and Spaceland (tickets are sold at the counter). The small, narrow space is lined with record bins, including a section dedicated to local acts like Silversun Pickups and The Henry Clay People. Local and national bands play in-stores from the upstairs loft space about once a week. In addition to rekkids, you’ll find turntables, tees and record bags from Killspencer.
