I had the same customer service experience as Christine S. The woman who takes the phone calls must be Marcy who the other reviewers have talked about, because any hired help would be fired on the spot for being so rude and hostile to a caller.
We had our windows installed three years ago, and had been pretty happy with them until about a year ago when some of the windows began making groaning noises whenever the wind blew. I finally realized that the problem was with the caulking around the windows. It is all coming off, and air is blowing in around the perimeter of the windows. When I called to inquire about the warranty, the woman I spoke to was absolutely obnoxious. I received a loud, almost shouting, lecture about how recaulking is normal maintenance that needs to be done at least once, even twice a year. That frequently? Ridiculous! Our old windows, while deficient in many respects, never needed recaulking in twenty years. Perhaps it is different with replacement windows, but instead of speaking to me with respect, the woman who handled my call was as nasty as could be.
I have previously recommended this company to others because I thought we had received a decent product for a fair price. But as I sit here at my kitchen table typing this review with cold air blowing on my feet, I have to say that I would no longer recommend Window Wholesalers.
Couldn't be happier with my new windows. We finally had enough money to get our very outdated replaced. My son threw a baseball through our front window by accident so we figured it was as good a time as any to just replace all of our front facing windows. My husband was referred to Window Wholesalers by a friend who used them recently.
I haven't had the best experiences with contractors in the past so when we had such a good experience with these guys I figured they deserved a nice review so that other people will hopefully find and use them and avoid the other characters out there.
Our windows look so great I'm actually glad my son threw that baseball through the window lol. Their service people and sales people were very friendly. They helped us pick great windows in our budget, installed the windows fast and were all around just nice people. I think it's family owned and operated. Marcy was the woman we spoke to through most of the process and was very helpful and friendly. All around nothing but nice things to say about this company. If my son throws another stray ball I know who I'll be calling ;)
Fantastic service!!! Had a whole bunch of windows replaced with new ones everything looks great! Very friendly and helpful people too! I was a little worried because I had never had new windows put in since we bought the house but the window wholesalers teams made everything super simple and easy. I would recommend to anyone looking for new or replacement windows in the area.
Had a very good experience with these guys. The entire process went very smoothly with the new windows we had put in. We had 10 windows replaced and everything looks great. The woman Marcy who handled our account was great and walked us through each step of the way. Installers came on time and worked quickly. Overall great customer service and high quality installation.
Excellent window installation! We just bought a new house and put in new windows. Window Wholesalers had great prices so we chose them but I would definitely recommend all around. Great customer support. Marcy and her salespeople there were courteous and polite throughout entire process. The installers worked quickly and efficiently and everything looks great! Will definitely use them again!
DO NOT DO BUSNIESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, they are lairs and they are cheats....
I completely agree those two reviews must be completitors trashing the company! I personally dealt with Marcy and she was simplily amazing....I rescheduled TWICE and she didn't bat an eye, then when her guys were installing they stayed an extra hour to clean up and took out my TRASH! No kidding! Simply amazing customer service.
Marcy is so easy to deal with. Must be competitors that complain about here. Quality control is run through her and she does a great job. Very service orientated. Always books appointments on time. Runs the crews diligently.
this lady as referenced below is horrible. Picked up the phone nonchalantly. Talked rudely to me and then had the audacity to call me back after. She made insult after insult which then I told her for a saleslady - it's quite confusing. I hung up on her and thankfully she didn't call me back again. If it starts off that way, I'd be highly suspect of this company no matter what they offer.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They came in and gave an estimate for 11 windows, yes they were the cheapest but I guess you get what you pay for b/c when the windows arrived a month later they were all the wrong type of windows, tried to get us to purchase them at a lower rate, which I believe is called bait and switch, when we refused had to wait another month for the right windows to be installed. Then we were told it would be done in a day, yes the windows were installed but then had to come back to finish up. Even though all of this inconvenienced us we still stayed calm and just dealt with it. However now, two years later, a seal is broke on one of the windows causing an awful look to the glass part of the window. We were told the window was gaurenteed, when I called the receptionist, WHO IS EXTREMLY RUDE, just spoke down to me, over me and loudly like I was a child. They sent me on a goose hunt for a sticker that contains the information that you need for the warrenty to be valid (which keep in mind most of them I found in the rooms on the floor after the windows were installed and disposed of not knowing of their importance) when I finally found one called back still spoke to rudely and they put in a call for service. When I recieved the call was told I would need to pay serive fees for the window costing $127.00 basically the cost of the window, what kind of gaurentee is that. When I called Window Wholesalers back to complain they told me, again loudly and rudely, that it is normal to have to pay for the labor, she compaired it to having a washing machine and if a part has to be replaced the part is free but labor is not, little did she know we did just have a part on our washing machine replaced, we did not pay a cent for parts or labor. The RUDE receptionist then put Mitch on the phone who had only been hearing the RUDE womans comments and right away became RUDE and on the defense. Until this problem occured, b/c they were cheap we were planning on having them replace two huge custom 12' windows in our home but knowing what their GAURENTEE is and their UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE..........NEVER AGAIN! If you use them you better hope they get the order right and you NEVER have a problem with the windows.
