I visited your service department 1/16/13 and the service man informed me I needed $820 worth of services including front and back brakes he stressed that the bad brakes were worse than the front and needed to be repaired he offered me 30% off if I got them done that week I set up an appointment for that Saturday, however I could not make it and canceled, I returned today 2/19/13 to have back brakes repair that your service advisers stressed were in need of repair and said it would be $239 just for the back, when I went today I talk with a different adviser and my cost was $179 I asked why he explained why and I do appreciate his explanation (some of your adviser are honest I think) so I left my car and a nice gentleman gave me a shuttle ride, about 20 minutes later service guy call to let me know "Ms Allen your brakes are fine I don't know who told you that you needed brakes and your back brakes are actually better than the front, but you need tires. I am upset, I believe that your department was going to give me a service I did not need, had I taken the offer on 1/16/13 you would have been giving me brakes I did not need and I am furious, I have been in GA 4 years and one of the hardest service provider to find is a HONEST mechanic, I did speak with the asst manager however he made the situation worse he protected dishonesty ,I will not visit your department ever again and I pray Carey Paul will investigate and hire honest mechanics.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! After wasting three hours of my time here on a Saturday afternoon they sold me a car that had been in an accident, after I repeatedly asked the salesmen THREE times for the CARFAX, he kept saying he would get it and never did. These guys are crooks and liars, all they want is a quick sale. The salesmen and mangers could careless about providing customer service or you. On the bright side they have the car they sold me sitting back on their lot. Stay away!
Excellent experience buying a car! – We just purcahsed a 2012 CR-V from Carey Paul Honda and had a great experience. We worked with Calvin via email prior to going to the dealership and he was extremely helpful, provided great information, responded to our emails quickly, and didn't try to jack up the price with added fees such as "dealer installed accessories" like other dealerships. Everyone including Paul in financing was very friendly. We visited 6 other dealerships before this one and didn't have anywhere near the same experience. We highly recommend this dealership. It's too bad their rating has thus far has been brought down by one negative review. Definitely give them a try...and ask for Calvin!
Service Dept-Get a Second Opinion – Went for oil change-performed quickly, HOWEVER, was told I need wipers,air filter and cabin filter.
The wipers had just been replaced two weeks prior and the air and cabin filters were replaced one month prior to the oil change. It was obvious that these items were NOT inspected.
This event will keep me away from Carey Paul Service Dept and I would caution all to get a 2nd opinion if told that you need an item replaced or repaired.
poor customer service after the sale – purchased new 2011 accord 3 weeks ago. discovered scratches upon first washing of vehicle. returned to dealer and recieved terrible customer service from manager named dave. he was very rude and loud. he was no help. will never purchase anything else from this dealership.
Service Department Quotes for Parts not broken – Quoted for over $2500 in needed repair for a minor issues. After a second opinion, found I only needed a part costing $187.00.
They always say dealers charge more, but they are a rip off. Will never go back!!
