We have a 2nd home in Mesa, AZ and are there AT LEAST once while we visit. The place is always busy with patrons, food comes out hot, service is great, clean atmosphere, etc... My Favorite dish: El Pollo Rico (Chicken) has 2 mini chimichanga like wraps with lettuce, tomato and Jalapeno cream cheese on it (the best part) plus beans and rice on the side. ABSOLUTELY DELISH! The Sopapillas are "to die for". We also like the Mango Margaritas which are amazing and refreshing on those hotter summer days! There is a reason they have 3 locations===they are fabulous!
I Love This Restaurant – I go to this restaurant a lot with one of my coworkers to get lunch. Usually we get something typical off the lunch menu because you get a mountain of food for the price you pay. This one day we walked in thinking we were going to get the normal lunch special that we always get. When we were getting seated we saw a waitress bring out this absolutely gorgeous steaming hot Mexican pizza and set it down by a couple sitting next to us. My first reaction was “we need to get that” and my coworker totally said the same thing. We asked the waitress what the other couple had and she said it was just a beef Mexican pizza. However, since we knew the waitress, she recommended that we get the other Mexican pizza called “Pizza Blanco”. The Pizza Blanco is smothered with slightly spiced cream cheese, grilled chicken, green chilies, green onions and top with mild Monterey Jack cheese. The slightly spiced cream cheese is what sold my coworker and I because it is on every other item that has been completely amazing.
When the waitress was walking out with the food the only thing running through my mind was OMG! The pizza was about 12 inches round and was covered with everything the menu said was on it. And it was about an inch and a half thick. The first bite into the slice was probably the intensifying flavor ever. With all the ingredient mixed together coupled with the deep fried crust was just an explosion! What made it even better was the Pico De Gallo salsa mixed all over the top to add just that extra flavor. This “Pizza Blanco” is defiantly a must have at this restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone.
