After reviewing the genuine response submitted to the Company by Ms. Simpson, I took it upon myself to once again look over the details surrounding this situation. Surely such a passionate retort from a customer deserves a second look on my behalf.
Upon supplementary review of the information provided, it became more evident that Ms. Simpson’s interpretations of the discussion held between herself and the technician prior to any work being performed were, in fact, as she had initially expressed. Ms. Simpson was in fact instructed to call into the office if she needed a more detailed invoice.
Clearly, follow through on this instruction was an absolute oversight by the Company and I offer my sincerest apologies to Ms. Simpson. The time and effort she has put in to this situation to merely obtain what she was promised by the technician is discouraging. I will do whatever is necessary in order to right this experience for her.
At my direction, our Operations Manager, Mike Johnson, has already reached out to Janis by phone on two separate occasions. The most recent call was made on October 25, 2013. Unfortunately, Mr. Johnson was unable to talk to Ms. Simpson. A message was left asking to return his call so that we can provide Ms. Simpson with whatever information she needs. As of the time this response was composed, neither phone call has been returned.
It is my full intent to follow through with the promises made to Ms. Simpson and I encourage her to reach out to Mr. Johnson at her earliest convince. Mr. Johnson will continue to make reasonable attempts to reach her as well.
Ms. Simpson asked for detailed pricing which is something other than the flat rate pricing that Precision Air & Heating, Inc. has used for several years now. Fortunately, it seems that she is otherwise pleased with the scope of work provided. Precision Air & Heating, Inc. goes to great lengths to make sure that Integrity, Quality and trust are at the forefront of the service we provide.
FALSE ADVERTISING - they advertise 24 Hour Emergency Service all over the Valley, but our experience was different. We called on a Sunday evening because our a/c had stopped working. We had PMAs with them for almost 15 years, but they would not send anyone out. Harlan told us the techs were going to "finish the jobs they're working on and go home to bed, and "the fine print in your PMA says we only have to call you back within 24 hours." We called One Hour A/C, who sent someone out and got us working again. We called Precision the next morning and they told us "we did nothing wrong", "we only have to call you back within 24 hours" and that it was our "choice to call another company." As if there's a choice when it's over 100 degrees, you have pets (or children) and your a/c isn't working!
Great company, they certainly know Air Conditioning in the Valley.
I had a terrible experience with this company. They not only ripped me off but I did not realize at the time that I signed a service agreement with them, in which they were required to come out and take a look at the air conditioner six months later. The reason that I called was that my a/c would not blow cold air. They came and diagnosed the problem and charged me $100.00 for a fuse, on top of the service charge. I called another company and asked how much they charged for the fuse, I was told that fuse is $6.00. Not only did I have to pay $100.00 for the fuse, they came back out and maintenanced the a/c six months later. I did not want anything to do with these people, but I read on my receipt that if I did not allow them to check-up, it would be an additional charge! Total ripoffs!
Spent $7,000 for a new unit that – Overall I can see how most people would rate this company a 4 or 5 and feel you can be fairly confident they will do good work despite my personal rating as my personal experience seems to be the exception to the rule with this company. Things sometimes fall through the cracks which I think happened in my personal experience which is why I am rating them a 3. The install people showed up on time, seemed to do a good job, and the unit appears to be doing good for the most part- quiet and efficient (lower electricity bills). The person who came to repair the attic access was over an hour late from the promised time as I told him I had to be at work and had to call my grandpa over to lock up. I can still see all the screw holes they used to affix cardboard until the repair was done, the panel still looks dirty and there is still missing paint in parts and it looks like his ladder hit the wall. I called to let them know I was displeased with the repair and that several of the rooms are at least a few degrees warmer than the others and they wanted $150 to come out and tell me why and didn’t inform me at the time it was likely the existing duct work and not something wrong with the installation. They also said they would have the repair guy call me to re-repair the work which I am still waiting for the call, several weeks later. It wasn’t until I posted a negative review that an apparent manager contacted me several days later and seemed far more concerned about the negative post than the bad repair or rooms being different temperatures. They then agreed to perform a quality check which seemed professionally done and stated it was the existing duct work and could be fixed for about $500. Since my dad is the owner of the house we had a lot of trouble coordinating things with them as well, even though I have given them my number multiple times and asked them to contact me for repairs and my dad has done the same and given them permission on multiple occasions to contact me they kept losing my number and contacting him when he was out of town, etc. delaying the process. Out of all the quotes I got Precision Air was the most expensive and seemed to be the highest rated so I guess I was just expecting a higher level of customer service though the install guys and quality check guy seemed pretty top notch and since it turned out not to be their product causing the temperature differences the product seems pretty top notch too.
We were having a problem with our A/C when I called Precision. They got here quickly and fixed it no time. Highly recommend!
I just want to tell you that your technicians did a wonderful job on my air conditioner today. My ac is working fine now. The technicians were there on time and they completed the work quickly too.
We had a new A/C unit installed by Precision last summer (2 weeks after buying our home!). They were extremely professional and helpful. For example, they added another vent in our front room which gets very hot in the summer months--for no extra cost. Even when we needed them to come out again later due to a small mistake, they were pleasant and easy to work with. I would recommend this company to anyone in the valley looking for a professional experience that will get you cooled down soon.

Reasonable – Precision was great. They sent over Ronnie actually answered the phone, and, on a hot day, he was there within an hour and a half. He was polite, pleasant, quick, careful, and efficient. He identified the problem right away, made sure I saw exactly what it was, and fixed it. I asked him about cleaning the outside unit, which was full of leaves and debris. He cleaned that, making sure to ask if it would okay to use a chemical rinse, and when I said I'd prefer not, he used plain water and still cleaned it thoroughly. I asked him about a few other things such as duct cleaning which he was very honest about, saying it wasn't necessary. We have a slow freon leak, and he refilled the freon, but was very honest to say that we didn't need to fix the leak right now. He brought a helper, and the two of them were both very polite. In less than an hour, we had lovely cold air. The A/C system is working better than it has for almost a year. His fee was very reasonable.
