Would I go here on a normal Tuesday? Probably not. But if I wanted to go to an Irish pub on St. Patrick's Day, it's the perfect ticket.

Can be great – Depending what night and time you go. I've seen great cover bands there on the weekends. Trivia night can get scary packed. Wished it smelled better and that beers were cheaper.

Been there lately? – I take it that many of these reviews are from a few years back when the IT was a good pub. But if you have been there in 2009 you will see that it is a shell of what it once was. In what appears to be "cost-cutting moves" gone are favorite menu items like the half-chicken and Guiness Pie as well as live music. Plus $5 for a domestic draft? This place is now the ulitamte dive but charges trendy gastro pub prices. Oh and popular bartenders were let go. Oh and don't forget their lamest St. Paddy's Day ever, they didn't open till 4pm! I guess Mr. McGuerrin is trying to turn a bigger profit.

I suppose this sounds more like a question.... – Where is the true Irish/ English/ Scotish place in this area? With European beers, true European foods and snack (well, not just 2-3 common things, or by the way, "would you like combo meal?????"), Irish music and European interior and at last- clearly English speaking personnel. I've been looking around for quite sometime. South Orange County where I live is totally terrible: all you can find is never ending depressing huge shopping malls built by national standards to make sure an average citizen is familiar with the names and is not troubled to read and think, places filled with low qiality chain food joints with so mysteriously same menus that it looks like they have a strict partnering agreement to avoid quality and anything unique. Or else- you are offered domestic beer, chinese and mexican food... in the Pub????? Hello, that's not what I am here for, so as others. Want ethnic foods? Go to the relevant places. This rediculous trend to serve everything for everyone's taste in he same place is a s stupid as it gets.

Service wise? Don't expect Soho House, London, level of service in the Pub!

Well, here is another clue: I figured if I see Harley-Davidson stockpile parked in front of the joint, this place must be a toss, I will go elsewhere....

NOT THE GREATEST PLACE – I was very excited to celebrate Saint Patrick days at this location because city search had so many great reviews. I REGRET IT!

When I first arrived at the front door I was instructed to enter through the back way. Probably because they were in violation of a fire hazard.

This place was extremely crowded and there food was ok but there service let me tell you, worst service ever!!! I ordered fish and chips and corned beef & cabbage. The food did not arrive until 1and a half hour later and when I asked about my food everyone minus one harry potter looking guy had an attitude. Very unprofessional people working there. I could have been better of going to the Olive Garden and would have had a much better meal with much better service. Maybe even less people. With paying $10 for entrance and $15 each plate and bad service, It was not worth it. This was my first and my last time going there, I was not impress.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Best All Around Pub in West LA – The Irish Times is by far the best all around pub in West LA. I've been living in the area for 4 years now and I've pretty much been everywhere. The 'Times' is a nice quiet spot tucked away from the madness of Los Angeles. Parking is a breeze, there's never any cover nor is it ever crowded, and the drinks are priced right.

The food is well basically bar food but good and cheap. If you want to have a night out with friends or just a quiet night and a couple of drinks this is the place to be. The golf game they have isn't all abused and sticky like the Golden Tees at most bars. The best part is there's no Karaoke night at this place. The pub around the corner has full volume Karaoke every night and after 10 seconds of walking in there you want to stab yourself in the eye with a pool cue. The 'Times' is where it's at.

Try the Trivia Night Tuesdays! – We go almost every Tuesday for "Trivia Night". You sign up, play in groups and have the chance to win some cash! The DJ asks questions(similar to Trivial Pursuit) and then plays songs as clues to the answer. Other nights are pretty mellow, a fun hang-out for a couple drinks and you're actually able to see and hear the people you're with. I've even had a few celeb sightings here. Even on Friday, it stays on the calmer side, which is a refreshing change from the LA bar scene. Great if you're not looking to get scammed on, mostly older regulars hang here. Single girls take note though; the place is swarming with cute, fun intellectual-types on Tuesday. Very noticeable guy to girl ratio. One downside-a couple of girls on the staff are pretty rude, and they don't know they're drinks; you may have to explain how to make them. All in all though, the regular staff is great and the drinks and food are yummy.

friendliest barmaids anywhere – This place is a hidden away gem. The Bar maids all have such great personalities. some are kooky, some are witty, and some are just plain insane, but they are all such fun. Went there for my birthday about a month ago and had such a memorable time, the girls where all wearing togas and my husband was just hoping there dresses would fall off. What can I say, go for the pints, go for the live music, but most of all go for those hilarious little tarts (my husband says go for there perky little bottoms, that's why he goes!)
