Neighborhoods: Financial District (Wall Street), Financial District, Downtown
Citysearch Editorial Review – Unexpected, innovative touches--like check-ins made personal by non-uniformed staff with portable “tablets”--create memorable, modern stays at the Andaz Wall Street. Well-suited to the Financial District, the 250-room hotel features sleek white and bleached wood accented guestrooms designed by the Rockwell Group, including many that are outfitted with functional, fabulous spinning wardrobes, LCD TVs that double as vanities and plenty of extras like plush bathrobes and slippers. A dramatic floating glass and steel staircase connects the hotel’s luxe gym, spa and meeting spaces.
Citysearch Editorial Review – Devised for time-is-money types who require quick spa visits and barely notice their surroundings, The spa at the Andaz Hotel is not overly luxurious. Most manicures, massages and facials on the menu can be completed within a 15-, 30- or 45-minute time slot, depending upon how much of a rush the client is in. Each 15-minute block (or "share," in keeping with the Wall Street locale and theme) costs $35 regardless of which service is being provided. Alternatively, those in search of a more leisurely experience can invest in hour-long "stocks" ($135), which can be used for more luxurious treatments like full body wraps, scrubs or deep tissue massages. For anyone who can’t drag themselves away from the office completely, copies of the "Wall Street Journal" are on hand.
