Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly and made buying a vehicle very easy and simple. The friendly and very helpful staff took us every step of the way from finding us a car and answering our questions to financing us a great deal on our new Tahoe. We would surely recommend Vara to anyone. Thanks again!
This is the only place I bring my vehicles for service. My truck had some black scuffs on the hood after being in storage for 2.5 years. Walter got them buffed out, did it without an appointment and at no cost. Five Stars just outstanding customer service.
Everyone on the staff provided outstanding customer service! They were very friendly and helpful as we looked through the vehicles selection on the lot. When we found the car for us they left no stone unturned to make sure they got us the best deal. The service has been excellent and we will recommend this dealer to our friends and family.
I was planning on shopping around but almost right away I knew I had found the right place everyone on the staff was super friendly and informative. They worked with me to get the perfect car for me at a price I could afford, thank you so much for all your help with the purchase and keep up the great work.
I have been a customer of Vara Chevrolet for a very long time now. They continue to provide my family and I excellent customer service and great quality of work. We were interested in purchasing a new car and stopped in to Vara Chevrolet. We had purchased a Trailblazer here in 2010 and were very happy with it. The staff was great and work hard to make us happy by finding us the perfect vehicle. We highly recommend Vara Chevrolet to family, friends or anyone looking for the perfect vehicle at a great price.
We had a pleasant experience and the people were great to work with. Everyone was so helpful and showed us everything we needed to know about our new car, because of this kind of customer service we will always go back to Vara Chevrolet!!
Everyone was very helpful and willing to do what they needed to get my husband and I into a new car. They staff really took time with us to answer all our questions and made sure we understood all the options. This was by far the best service we have ever received when buying a car. Great work!!
Not satisfied. I have come onto this website are took the time to make a profile just to tell you about this dealership. I was interested in a 2007 Cobalt that they had for around $8,000, when we went to the dealership we spoke to Carmen who said she wasn't sure if the car had been sold or not, so she sent us to another, more older man. He started off with an introduction of himself and gave us his whole life story "I'm a christian kinda guy... used to be a teacher... two weeks shy of 25 year marriage.. god got me through it" I'm sorry, I thought we were at a dealership, not a therapist office. He tells us the car was sold yesterday (went on 10/8/12), we told him our price range was 10-14,000 for a used car. Tried to ask us what our down-payment is, we did not say, tried to sneak passed that and ask what our expected monthly payment will be, again we did not say. These two things are all they need to fool you into an overpriced car, every expert will tell you never to disclose this information. He then takes us to the lot and walks us through to the other side saying 'I see nothing has caught your eye", no sir, everything in this lot is new and around 17,000. So he walks us to the front of the dealership where three cars lay on display, again all +15,000. We walk back inside and he hands us over to a younger male employee who tries to ask us the same thing, we say our price range, he tells us there's a good car on its way to the dealership right now that's priced at 17,000. Then tries to lure us in by saying "We could always negotiate", we don't budge. "There's a Scion for 17,000" NOT INTERESTED. Once he sees that he calls his manager and tells him that we were interested in either one. We go through some more time with the manager only to have him say "You wont budge even a little with your price point?" we say no, and leave. All this time wasted when all we wanted to see was a car in our price-point.
Dishonest sales practice, lie to get you in the door and then pass you off from person to person to try and close deal. I strongly conveyed my interest and expectations so as not to waste my time or theirs over the phone with internet sales person. I further expressed that to her in an email again asking her not waste my time and taking the steps to provide her with the vin numbers of the vehicles we liked. She was very empathetic saying that they could help us and meet our needs. She said quote, "I have already gotten with the Sales Manager and went over everything with him, and we will definitely be able to help you. We have never lost a customer because of price." This is the only reason that I took my family to their dealership, with the understanding on both sides that no wasted time or back-handedness would occur. What I got instead, was being passed from her to three other people for almost 3 hours, with me having to explain to each person what I was looking for. In turn I got every person trying to sell me the same vehicle at the same price in a different way. Even after speaking with the Sales Manager and for the third time explaining the situation and him saying he could get us down to $575-$600 on a payment. I get my intelligence insulted with the finance guy coming and trying to explain credit and rates to me. Then have him offer me the vehicle at $47,000 with the same exact price not a thing changed from the moment I originally spoke with them, and a payment of $749.
When letting David Vara the Gm aware of their sales practice and what happened in an email. He proceeded to call me and leave a very condescending voice mail saying, he's sure I'm a smart person but math is math and sometimes people just don't understand it. When I called him back and spoke to him, there was no apology. He just told me the same thing that sometimes people don't understand why deals don't work out because of the math, and maybe I should just go some where else that they have plenty of customers.
I have a degree in finance and have been in Banking, Mortgage, and Finance for 11 years. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an organization.
