Final Cut - no ordinary Gym! – I joined Final Cut for women one year ago. In that year I have received personalized strength training programs set for my physical needs and goals. And a year of invaluable information, and knowledge on the science behind strength training and the importance of nutrition. I can't thank the owners/trainers, Karla and Rick enough for there dedication in helping me achieve my goal. I am not only stronger and firmer, I also am more mentally alert (oophs! they might question that one!) Seriously, if you want the best, Final Cut is the Gym for you.
A Fitness Center Just For Women – This is a place were you can become as strong as you want, look as good as you can, be as fit as possible and train to become good at the sports you love. All these things are possible with the personalized weight training programs and nutrition knowledge of Rick and Karla. I'm 54 years old and started weight training at Final Cut two years ago. I have never been in such good physical shape. I have lost 30 pounds, wear clothes that I could have worn in high school and have been able to return to downhill skiing after 10 years. This is a very unique place for women to learn how to use weights to gain strength, how to eat to bulid muscle and loose fat and get awesome looking muscle definition, all in a comfortable women's only setting. The help you get is unbelievable. I hated working out because it was boring and usually aerobic - which I found to be uncomfortable, hard on my knees and joints and made me sweat. Lifting weights has become a whole world to me and I love it. It can really give you confidence, make you stand taller and get you through some difficult physical and stressful times. Just do it! It will be the best thing you have ever done.
You'll never regret the cost-it's a steal for the return – I joined Final Cut in Shoreview in July 2010 following a very serious illness & a back injury that had left me without much feeling, let alone strength in my left side. I had been a "LIfetime" member (since their inception) & had felt i didn't matter at all to a club that had sifted away thousands of my hard earned $$. I can attest to the fact that not only am I (as is everyone) truly "considered" & "cared for" by the owners' Rick & Karla, but they have a system in place that individually caters to everyone's individual needs. I am probably fitter today than I have ever been in my adult life & I actually look forward to working out which is something I have never enjoyed. I recommend this to anyone no matter what your body , shoe size or fitness level is....all you need is the will.....they will help you get there.
An Athlete in Need of a Little Training – I'm a highschool athlete who joined Final Cut in 2008. I needed to get in better shape. I wanted to become stronger for soccer and increase my verticle jump. I also needed to slim down and become much quickier for the upcoming track season.
I fell in love right away. The workouts I did helped immedietly. I could feel my body changing and i could see my athletic abilities increase. The co-owners/ trainers, Rick and Karla, set me up with a weight lifting program to help my specific needs (and the especially great thing is that you are never doing the same routine over and over agian!! So you will never get bored!) They even worked around my busy schedule. After each work-out i felt refreshed and better about myself. I am challanged enough to make a difference but not too much where I am sore for the next week.
RIck and Karla are professionals that know what they are doing. They make it their priority to help you while keeping in mind what your body neeeds, in terms of health and nourishment. I do my best to make it to the gym at least three times a week. It's a fun and comfortable atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and productive.

Final Cut Fitness is last gym I'll ever join! – Final Cut is "the" last gym I will ever belong to. I have been a lifetime exerciser but I was tired of the countless "classes", the lack of sound nutrition information, and I wanted to gain some real strength. I was tired of always having to learn some new fad or trend that really didn't have sound science to back it.
Final Cut has given me everything I was looking for and more. At 43-years of age, I am stronger, leaner and more fit than I've ever been. I'm able to lift more weight than when I was playing volleyball in college. I love how my body feels solid and how my body has muslce definition. I am not bulky, I am strong! The added benefit has been that with more lean muscle mass, I have cut back my cardio workouts from 5-7 days a week to 3-4 days a week, and that's only because I enjoy it! I have actually gained more time for other areas in my life by gaining strength.
Rick and Karla, co-owners of the gym, are experts in providing the right programs, teaching sound lifetime nutrition information, and encouraging you to meet your goals and push past them. They are with you every step of the way monitoring your progress, making changes and helping you set new goals. You will LOVE them!
