Good product / Horrible experience and staff. Needed to purchase a PA system for our neighborhood pool. After having to call back numerous times over a couple of weeks, finally received a quote. After finally making some adjustments to the quote to remove items that weren't necessary, we accepted the quote and wanted to have the work done. I had to chase the sales person down for literally for a month to make sure that he knew we wanted to have the work done. Then for another another month to schedule a day for the install. And then the install became an issue because our job kept being pushed back for about 3 weeks. I called the store to try and speak with the owner to only find out that he was who I had been working with the whole time. The PA system has finally been installed and works great and the work done was clean. However, if I knew another company that did this work, I would have gone elsewhere. The amount of hassle it took to nail down the price, items to be used and then an firm install date was really not worth the trouble. You would think that with the economy the way it is and everyone needing work that they wouldn't ignore a $1900 sale.

I have been dealing with Creative Acoustics for around 12 years now and they have always looked out for me when it came to repairing our church system as well as my personal system that I use on the road. Recently I had an issue with the speakers in my vehicle. While at the dealership getting my car serviced I asked the service advisor what it would cost to replace the door speakers. He recommended I call Creative Acoustics and let them have a look. I totally forgot that they did car audio but stopped by on my way home. Josh looked at my vehicle and told me he could have the speakers edged and scheduled me for the following morning. I dropped off the car and when I picked it up that evening the speakers were working great. They repaired my factory speakers and saved me a fortune over what the dealership wanted! Time and time again I have been satisfied with their work. Thanks.

Best Rental Price on Equipment – We were getting married a couple months ago, and I called five different Raleigh companies to check rental prices on an amplifier, microphone, power mixer, speakers, stands, and cables.

Richard, in the rental dept, was easy to talk with on the phone and explain what we need. He quoted me half the price of the next best place (which was DeeJays). Seriously?! I'm going to get all that for half of what I was looking at?!

The day of, I went to pick it up, and there had been a communication mixup regarding what time I was supposed to be there - but Richard was really nice and got everything ready hours earlier than he remembered promising.

We laptopped the reception with the rental equipment, and my DJ bro-in-law was SUPER impressed with the quality of the equipment and complete STEAL that we got the rental for.

I would COMPLETELY recommend Creative Acoustics for sound equipment rental to anyone who asks. It rocked! Thank you Richard!

The best service I have ever received – My wife and I were shopping around for a home audio system and came across Creative Acoustics in the Yellow Pages. We spoke to Buddy on the phone and he suggested that we should come in and sit down and explain our needs to them. At first I expected that they were only trying to get us through the door in order to pressure us to buy but that was not the case at all. In fact when we arrived we met the owner at the front door and he had Buddy come up and speak to us. Much to our suprise there was no pressure to buy what so ever. In fact I was shocked when he suggested that the television that we were considering was too large for our room and explained that we could purchase something smaller and use the extra money for another part of the system.

The next day Buddy and Jay came out and looked at our house. They made sure that we could mount the television above out fireplace and that the cables could be routed back to a cabinet where the equipment would be located. I expected the cost was going to exceed our budget but I was wrong. Not only was the cost below what we had expected but they had added additional items such as a tilt mount television bracket and a programmable remote control that would operate all of our equipment with just the touch of a button.

A few weeks later Buddy and Jay came out to perform the installation. The explained everthing they needed to do in detail and did a beautiful job with installing the equipment. The even installed our children's PS3 in to the system and afterwards explained how to operate all of the equipment. Before they left they cleaned up and offered to carry away the empty boxes.

Several weeks in to using the equipment we had an issue with our cable box. We called Buddy and he came by the check everything out. He determined that the problem involved the signal strength and suggested we contact Time Warner customer service. Time Warner made three trips to our home and never solved the problem and leading us to believe the problem was with out equipment. Once again Buddy came out to our home and spent three hours troublshooting our issue. In the end he located the problem in our basemant. It seems that they had installed a few splitters in the basement that went out to six cable outlets. Since we only use two televisions Buddy removed the splitters and installed a two way one and the problem was solved. Ever more suprising was the fact that he didn't charge us a penny to do it even though it was on a Saturday after store hours in his free time. Not to mention the fact that he repaired a problem that had nothing to do with Creative Acoustics installation.

We will never shop anywhere else! Even if the cost was higher it would be worth it considering the exceptional customer service we received. By the way the system still performs great and we could not be happier.

Total Indefference ..TWICE! – I went there several Months ago, I had questions about an XM reciever for my current car stereo (2004 Murano) I was told right off the bat the only way to do anything was through FM modulation, I knew this was incorrect but I just chalked it up to a bad day. Went back last week, I wanted to add an Amp and Sub to my Car WITHOUT tearing out the current head unit. The Nissan Murano's radio is heavily integrated with the cars electronics and ripping it out is really not an option. So I walk into Creative acoustics and the owner or some person who worked there was content talking to one of his buddies on the couch and totally ignored me, I walked into one of the offices and asked if any sales folks were available, the lady seemed embarrassed and called someone in the back, 10 minutes went by and she tried a second time, this time someone came out. So, the sales person (Buddy) comes out and I tell him what I am trying to do, his advice? "tear everything out" I explained to him that I really didn't want to go that route, he then advised me that there was nothing that could be done. I was patient but realized by the body language that I was bothering Buddy, I told him that on the Nissan Murano Forums there were hundreds of folks who have done exactly what I was trying to do, and I have myself added Amps and Subs to factory vehicles in the past and the work was done by Circuit City, so was he sure this couldn't be done? He was adamant that this would never work, but that didn't surprise me because when I went in the first time I had also asked about replacing my stock speakers with other 2 ohm speakers, Buddy once again told me these didn't exist, which of course is false since the infinity Kappa's are 2 OHM Speakers. Buddy assured me that was wrong, he then told me how busy he was and left.

I went down the street to 919 Motoring where I met Shaun Reilly, he listened to what I wanted, said no problem, installed an Alpine Amp and Sub to my stock radio and it ROCKS!

Good and loud – Jerry Lovelace and his boys are the very best there is at what they do. And what they do is sound: Auto, band, church and auditorium, or whatever. They have a passion for doing sound better than anyone has ever done it before. And they do it at a reasonable price. Sure, sound stuff is expensive, but you can't get more literal boom for the bucks than you will at Creative Acoustics.

I've been doing business with them for over 25 years. I always look for better. Better than Creative Acoustics doesn't exist.
