Citysearch Editorial Review. While this small building seems to be rather plain, once inside the giant ceramics and woven décor evokes the Southeast Asia that you’ll find in the menu. Assorted menus are available, including the often overlooked Lao menu. Browsing through both the Thai and Lao menus, you’ll notice many old favorites, as well as adventurous new dishes involving random animal parts and exotic preparations. Some of the dishes can be ordered either as a Lao or a Thai preparation, luckily the friendly service is happy to explain both the subtle differences and what the mysteriously named but not described dishes are. The freshness of the ingredients and the skill in preparation come through in all the dishes, so don’t be afraid to branch out. Do, however, be afraid of ordering things too spicy—their scale goes very high, and you’ll hear your neighbors begging for more rice to cool their seared mouths.
