My husband and I met a representative of Rising Sun Pools at the Southern Home show. At the time, we were house shopping and either planning on buying a house with a pool or planning to put one in. The representative stated that your company could advise us prior to house purchase and we were referred to, Gerry Sinnott. I was amazed by his quick and thorough responses to our various questions and multiple property reviews. I know it must have taken some time to look up septic areas, plots and general property information and his advice was invaluable to our housing search. He answered each and every question within 24 hours (usually within a few hours)! We especially valued his advice on one particular house we really wanted to buy, but it would not have allowed for a pool at all… what a costly mistake that could have been! In addition, I assume that this must be the busiest time of year for any pool company getting ready for the Memorial day holiday. I feel indebted to Gerry for his time and we are so pleased with his amazing customer service and look forward to working with your company in future for all our pool needs.

This pool project was four years in the planning. Josh was very thorough when providing us with accurate cost of concrete, electrical and pool installation. Both Josh and Jon have been very responsive which goes a long way in making the customer feel comfortable, especially with project of this size and cost. I want to extend to you and your employees a heartfelt thank you for going out of your way to help ease my frustration, and get the project that much closer to completion. Thank you for your time and patience. We will definitely recommend Rising Sun to anyone planning a pool.
If you are new to pool ownership look no further. Our inground vinyl pool was installed about six years ago and we are happy. Even before installation we were asked to decide about coping around the pool and we hear a voice from the next room "its one of those things that can't be done after installation" and we decided to do it, it was absolutely the right call.
We really have not spent much on chemicals or service since the initial installation. Taking water in for testing is easy and if you do need some correction they spell out the steps you need to follow to get back on track.
Advice over the phone is fantastic if you have any problems or questions just let them know. This year we had some issues at opening and they have dealt with them wonderfully, phone advice to get us up and running until they could get to us (week before Memorial day!!).
Service people I have talked to are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Kevin took the time to explain what he had done and to ensure that I was satisfied.
I think management looks for win win situations and are one of the few companies left that don't gouge people which obviously is why they have a great reputation.
I selfishly wish them continued success!
Rising Sun Pools’ service has been great! We are happy that we contracted with them to build our pool. If problems should arise in the future, we will certainly contact them. Also, I would like to say a special thank you for the beautiful flower arrangement they sent to us. We were not expecting that, but sure did enjoy them for quite a while.

Pete came out this morning to inspect the pool at the home we’re purchasing. Rising Sun Pools has been great to deal with over the phone and email. The real test is, however, how their employees interact with the customers’ in the coustomers’ home, back yard and pool deck.
Pete took the time to explain why some things can wait and others need to be fixed right now. To a new home and pool owner, Pete taking his time and walking through what the pool was doing and not doing – and what would need attention and fixing was just outstanding.
Buying a home is a tremendous process and a pool ceritanly adds to the stress inintally. Rising Sun Pools and Pete did a great job and we will ceritanly be calling on you and your services again.
We are business owners as well and appreciate Rising Sun Pools' excellent service and professionalism. First, can we tell you that we were blown-away when we received the gorgeous flower arrangement? Sounds corny, but we got the warm/fuzzy's, big time! We have been thoroughly pleased with the entire construction process (other than the rainy summer that equated to many delays) and more specifically your team. From meeting Gerry S. at the home show and our first meeting with Josh G. back in March and Jon P., Kevin (Uncle) to Kevin P., Kyle, Jason in Pool Care. You have assembled and unbelievable team! And... we must mention Darren Hilyer, Capital City Curb & Gutter and his team. Darren and his guys were professional and very accommodating! We truly believe that our backyard paradise wouldn't look as good as it does if it weren't for Darren's experience, advice & expertise! Tom Harte, Harte Electric & Cary ("our" electrician now) were also great to work with as well. We have gained friendships throughout the process. Only regret so far is that we did not build the pool years earlier.
I just felt the need to write you an e-mail to say that I think your company is incredible. We bought our pool from Rising Sun in 1999 and have enjoyed it ever since. The pool was built to last and we have had only to do some minor maintenance here and there. Not only that, but when there is some small problem, your service techs are out right away to fix the problem as quickly and as inexpensively as possible. Your service techs are simply the best. I have never dealt with any company that has the level of customer service and customer satisfaction as Rising Sun Pools. Your staff has always been helpful and extremely courteous and you make a great product that you stand behind. Anyone who buys a pool anywhere else is out of their mind.
Repeated calls dont get returned – I bought my DoughBoy from Rising Sun four years ago and that experience was good. However I have been trying to get a simple quote for vinyl liner replacement for over a week. I have left several voice mail messages and nobody returns my call.
They must be overflowing with business so much that they dont need mine.
Sir, I apologize for the delay with your quote. Since you had a special request of filling in your deep end we had to wait to speak with the installer to quote that portion and then get you a price on the liner. We absolutely should have called you during that time to notify you of the delay. My staff called you earlier to confirm you received the quote - please let us know if there is anything else i can do for you and again my apologies for the delay.

superior knowledge – Superior pool knowledge and service than any other competitor in the local vicinity. I dropped in without notice to discuss my pool problems I was having due to a competitor's installers. The General Manager Scot was very friendly and honest with my situation. He shared his knowledge and gave me the name and number of his Installer whom he has used for 13 yrs.
Remember one thing folks, the pool is only part of the purchase, go with a company that uses good Installers!!!
Their inventory is huge and they're family owned and operated in 3 locations in the Triangle.
