I spent three days looking and driving affordable cars on 82nd avenue. The new car dealers said that cars in my price range are on 82nd. I went to three so called finance specialists places and dealt with guys who smelled like marijuana at one and a guy who smelled like alcohol at another. I tried Oregon Car Connection and they were alright. This college kid named Luis was cool. He didnt sound like any of these so called salesman. He listened and we picked out a nice truck. We took it to have it inspected and they had to replace an O2 sensor was all. Not bad. His boss Ken was alright also. He was a no nonsense guy. But after 2hours of waiting on the bank. It was done. No lies, no BS. Thanks Luis good luck this fall at college.
These guys were great. I personally had a blast and got the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted and it all worked out fine. Thanks Johnny, Ken and the rest of the staff that helped me get my truck.
the owner is a liar sell's crappy used car's that are fixed to get you off the lot and then leave you stranded . he was a racist against mexicans and black's while i was there thinking i wuold laugh at his racist jokes and comments about the people who work for him and customers . well i showed him i screwed him over on a car he paid off on a loan i had on it from when i bought it from him . and he sold the car and took over a $ 2.000 dollar hit on that one be cause he sells piece of crap cars . and cuold not resell it for what sold it to me for . now let's see the next few lie's they tell on the reviews after this review. stop posting you're phony review's .
Horrible Experience!!! Keep reading!!
On April 24th, 2012 My dad and I decided we would go look at dealers ships on 82nd ave Portland,OR (we come from the coast) We came across this Dealer "Oregon Car Connection" we saw that they had a wide variety of cars. My dad saw a Yellow ford f-150 he fell in love with the truck. He made a really good deal with one of the sellers (Micky) My dad then decides he would also purchase the AUL warranty since they were so pushy about it. So then comes the HORRIBLE part. 3 or 4 days later the transmission starts making weird noises and acting weird, my dad was not worried since he had AUL warranty. We call the dealer to let them now that we need to use the warranty because they sold us a piece of junk & they said NO! you can't use until a certain milage. SO were like WTF! we pay for something we can't even use. So then they are like we have a mechanic of our own he will only charge you $2,000 my dad was not willing, but somehow they talked us in into paying $600 of the cost. We then get the truck back and it was working fine until 2 days after; The transmission starts acting weird again. So my dad is really irritated by now, since Jarred ( I believe that's his name) keeps calling our home so we can pay up for they "supposed" fix on the truck, my dad doesn't want any trouble with them so he pays the $600 and lets it go. So since the transmission was yet not working my dad figured he could now use the warranty by now BUT! No, THEN they tell us the only way we can use the warranty is if the transmission broke down completely, that was by far the stupidest thing I heard from there dumbasses mouth, how the hell does he expect us to drive a car that could brake down anywhere. SO thanks to them they ruined are summer vacation to California because we weren't going to risk driving from Lincoln City to Cali knowing the truck could brake down anytime. So we then call them to let them now we want to cancel the warranty so the Owner gets all bitchy about it. but he told us to send them an email explaining why we wanted to cancel the warranty by now its obvious why we wanted to. So when I sent them the email. I thought they would take care of it. WRONG! they then said they hadn't received anything from us & blah blah! so they we call AUL to let them now what was going on & they informed us that the only way to cancel was by going to the dealership so we did & that was two days ago (9-5-2012) We then just ended up trading in the truck at at a different dealership. After we traded the truck we went to OCC to talk to Amy the one who is in charge of the warranties , but supposedly she wasn't there so we left a copy of the cancellation paper and they told us they would let her now about it I call the next day & talked to her about the cancellation she then says she would take care of it & then VERY RUDELY she hangs up. So today (9-7-2012) I call the AUL to check if Amy had taken care of everything BUT NOO! she hadn't they told us that they had not heard anything from OCC . SO AUL is taking care of the cancellation since OCC was not willing to do it themselves.
If your read all of this I really do hope you think twice (or even better a million times) about going to Oregon Car Connection. They are very rude, they don't care about their customers. They're just plain HORRIBLE & RUDE!

ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE...KEEP READING!!! This place is a joke!!! Bought a 2005 Acura TL in August of 2011, by Oct. 2011 I needed to replace the transmission, battery and headlights. Nov. 2011 I needed to replace the brakes all around. Took it to Ron Tonkin Acura and they told me I need $3400 more worth of work done to the car ON TOP of the $4700 I just spent. Tried selling the car on craigslist, pulled an Autocheck report...to my surprise the car had been in THREE (3) accidents. Reason why I was surprised... the dealership gave me an autocheck report...but apperantly gave it to me for the WRONG car...entire process was terrible. Had to return three different times because they couldnt get the paperwork correct. When I asked to be compensated for my time and travel (three times is a bit excessive) the carsales man LAUGHED in my face and told me to stop looking for a free hand out. Not to mention, my wife went there before me, and while looking around they tried pressuring her into any and all of the CRAP cars they had on there lot...she chose the one she wanted, and then the finance manager tried FORCING a service contract on her...she ended up leaving and I went back to close the deal, but before that I called to address the EXTREMLY HIGH PRESSURE sales issue, and the salemen told me MY WIFE LIED?!?!? TERRIBLE PLACE...TERRIBLE PEOPLE...dont spent your hard earned money here...unless you have extra $$$ to spend on repairs. They are terrible!!!!
busy place, nice guys – I am 6'7" and finding a truck or car for me is a chore. I went to several easy finance places and didnt find anything that fit me or my financing. I went into Oregon Car Connection and they were extremely busy. I waited and one of the two sales guys broke loose enough to help me. He was extremely polite. I could see he was busy. He was direct and helped me. He got me in and out in a timely fashion considering he was juggling two of us. Nice guys worth the visit.
LOCAL GUYS ARE GOOD – I just bought a vehicle from my neighborhood dealer. They are ok. My sales guy was great. A regular guy. His
boss was a typical car salesman type. But I like the car and overall I am happy with my purchase.
Good Guys Go See Them – I just bought a truck. These guys are OK. No bull. Go see them. Thanks.
Didnt believe it – I read ALL of these reviews and at first i thought there really were super happy customers. And didnt really believe that OCC was making their own posts, but then i saw the name "micky mo", which is the name that appears when i get an email from mickey from OCC. I called about 2 cars, BOTH sold but still on the website. They have since then e-mailed me routinely trying to get me in to look at a crappy car, that i dont want to see. I get e-mails, phone calls and i keep ignoring and it wont stop. I HATE pushing salesmen, it drives people away and its really suspicious that they have to make fake reviews to get customers. LEAVE ME ALONE OCC, if i wanted one of your cars; i'd call you back. or e-mail.
