GREAT VET! – I have been taking my dogs here for over 6 years. The staff is friendly and the doctors are warm, caring and understanding. Recently my boy beagle, Augie, went missing for 9 days and when i found him i wanted him checked out. I was low on funds but when Dr Sullivan found out what had happened he agreed to let me bring little Augie in and give them a post dated check. I love this place and would not take my dogs to any other vet.
I love my vet – I have been seeing Dr. Price since 1990 when she was still making house calls. She was Missy Precious (Lhasa Apso 1987-2003), Annie Fannie (Cocker Spaniel 1993-2009) and now Sweet Pea and Samantha (Lhasa Apso's sisters 2009-present). Even today she still shows sencere love and caring for my girls unlike some other offices i've been in where the $$ is all they cared about not my babies. We just recently had my new babies spayed and the scaring will be minimal. She did an outstanding job. Anyone there can tell you i'm a little overprotective of my girls and a worry wart but they all just deal and give me warm and fuzzies. Even though this office isn't remotely close to where i live i followed Dr. Price and will always be a satisfied customer. Oh yea let me not forget the the rest of the crew everyone there has been courtious and thoughful. I recommend this establishment highly
Switching to a different vet – 1. Dr. Price is very very nice and when we see her we're generally happy.
2. Dr. Sullivan is nice but discarded my comments regarding my dog's symptoms and misdaignosed him, which cost him taking unecessary antibiotics and of course my money for repeated visits and medicine he didn't even need. He still has a problem and I am fed up and looking for a different vet.
3. I took our pooch for boarding once from Thursday to Monday. They were resistant allowing me going back, but then allowed. The facility back there is very cold and smelled like strong desinfectant. Great they keep it clean, but I wouln'd want to stay there myself. They keep a record card, BUT they lied on it. My pooch is very picky about going for No. 2. They reported to me that he went everytime they took him except once. Well, on Monday morning he had an accident in his cage that I know about because when i picked him up he was all wet and I wanted to know why. I took him home and instead of him greeting his Daddy, he ran into the woods and pushed and pushed for good half hour in different spots and LOT came out. That dog did not go No. 2 the whole time he was at boarding except the one time in his cage and just a little bit he just couldn't hold any longer. I know he is difficult regarding this and would understand this situation if the report card said the truth about him not going to the bathroom. I was ready to leave then, but stayed because of Dr. Price, but am leaving now regardless.
4. The stuff is very nice at the front desk and in the back as well. They treat my dog with love and always have smiles on their faces.
There is some good to say about this facility but not good enough to my standards. We are leaving.
Great care. Great people – Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor who performed the surgery on our Dachshund were wonderful. Very friendly, and willing to make sure we understood each step of the way.
