Skin Sense Day Spa on Falls of the Neuse in Raleigh – I love this place Skin sense Day SPA. It starts when I walk into the door the aroma and soft music in the background is so relaxing it gets you in the frame of mind to relax. I feel special when I go there because no matter who does your massage they have great personalities. I did't realize I was clostaphobic and when I was wrapped she asked before I could even say anything and allowed me to free my hands and chose to stay in the room until I was comfortable. I love sitting in the waiting room in those body contour chairs, while the music is playing and the the complimentry water, tea and fruit makes me feel important. I once went there for just a flexology and ended up coming back for a full body massage. I really get really relaxed when I am there. Even though there are others there it seems private. I just love it.

Best Facial EVER!!! – Are you looking for the best facial in the Triangle, then look no further! Skin Essence-A Day Spa is the best there is! Lina is well versed in all of the up to date facial treatments and gives you the treatment that is best suited for you skin type. It is a wonderful experience that makes you want to come back for another session. Once Lina starts with the treatment, you become totally immersed in a relaxed state that makes you feel completely calm. Lina has become a good friend of mine over the years and as long as she has the spa, I will continue to come back to see her.

Thanks Lina for all of the great and wonderful facials!!

best spa in Raleigh! – I'm super picky about how I like things done and how friendly people are, I've been to a number of spas in the raleigh and Skin Sense (North Raleigh) is simply the best. I've been going there for almost a year and every time I walk in all my stress drips away quickly. The entire staff is friendly and picks up on each individual's personality very well. I could just go hang out there! haha. Ever treatment or session is simply perfection.

when large groups come in they do get a little behind, but the lougne area is so relaxing you hardly notice!

Best spa atmosphere – I have been to numerous spas and this one seens to be the more relaxing The desk staff is well trained and I enjoy the treatments. It is not good if you get a massage therapist that talks too much, and so far, I've had great luck with different therapists in this north raleigh location.

I enjoy the new look ad the lounge

Amazing place – I have been going to Skin Sense for a couple of years now for waxings, massages, facials, and body treatments. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing-I have always had wonderful experiences here! They have a ton of services to try as well.

Not impressed – point blank, i do not recommend going to the brier creek location. the front desk staff are not only rude, but don't even look at you or say goodbye with a smile when you leave. I expected more, but was not impressed. Also, after my facial, my face looked worse, and left the place with my pimples bleeding. I thought facials were supposed to be relaxed without any pain, but the lady basically tried to squeeze my pimples, and my face looked horrible for the rest of the week.

Not impressed – I usually go to Iatria, but I had a gift certificate. My appointment was suppose to begin exactly at 7, as advised when I made the appointment. At 7:20 I was almost ready to leave when my therapist came to get me. During my massage there was staff outside talking and laughing louding, it sounded like they were cleaning up for the night . They closed at 8, but of course my appointment ran over. As I was changing and preparing to leave someone practically stood over me until I dropped my towel. I will not be going back.

"Total" Experience – I had been going to the North Raleigh location for years and was very happy with the service, product, etc. I recently started using the Brier Creek location and was not as happy. While the actual services and location are great, the front desk staff is a downside. My experience was not "service with a smile". This is disappointing considering the beautiful building they are in.

My advice is to stick with the North Raleigh location if you want the "total" rejuvenating experience.

I love Skin Sense! – I've had facials, massages, and body treatments from the Skin Sense location on Falls of Neuse Rd. I have ALWAYS been treated professionally and with extreme courtesy. The front desk staff at this location are kind, respectful, courteous, and so helpful. I often return just to buy products. I've never had a bad experience at this location.
