Reviews for Xtreme Auto Repair

Take this and the stories above as a fair warning! I went to Xtreme (ly crappy) Auto Repair to get my motor swapped in my Jeep. Jeff (the owner) quoted me $950.00 and said it would be done in about a week or two. 3 weeks go by and I haven't heard a word. Starting to get a little concerned I call up Jeff to see what the progress is. The call went a roughly like this:

Me: Hey Jeff, this is Greg with the Jeep. How's it coming?

Jeff: Bla Bla Bla, Lie Lie Lie,It will be done in two days... Im a theif.

Me: Oh okay well I'm a pretty trusting person so I'll take your word on all that.

So another week goes by and no word. Now I'm getting concerned about things. I call again, same thing -another snag- it will be done in a couple days. Can anyone guess what happens? I think you did. Same thing, still it was not done. This whole thing went on for 9 months before I finally got fed up enough and wen't to pick up my jeep. The Jeep looked as though it hadn't even been touched - other than to move it so that he could fit more cars in his shop that would sit untouched for months, or who knows, maybe even years. So while I'm picking my jeep up, he comes up to me with a bill for $2,000. I originally thought it was a joke, but after realizing that Jeff has no sense of humor - and only the senses of smell and taste due to his fat ass gut (Honestly I feel sorry for his kids, he probably eats all the food and just feeds them bullshit) - I got pissed and called the police. After the cops arrived I realized that apparently it is 100% legal for him to steel cars and not work on them, then charge whatever price he can dream up (fortunately for me, Jeff is fucking dumb as shit and two thousand is the biggest number his brain can comprehend). On top of his b.s I got a list of the parts he charged me for and began looking around my jeep to make sure that they were all accounted for. It was really no surprise at this point that 5 parts including a "custom" drive shaft for $500 was unaccounted for. None of this mattered though because as the police we called informed us, he has the legal right to charge you to pick up your own vehicle from his shop after doing nothing to it at all.

Moral of the story, Jeff is a scum bag and probably a horrible human being all the way around. He is doesn't know shit about cars and after seeing what he did to my jeep, I doubt he knows how to change the oil in a car. Fuck him, he belongs in jail!!!

Rip-Off – RIP-OFF RIP-OFF RIP OFF

Do not use Xtreme (jeff) under any circumstances.

The reviews on here and elsewhere are completely true. All he does is take your money, give excuses and never fixes anything. You're lucky to even get you car back

Xtreme auto scammers of Brighton "1003 HWY 85 Brighton CO" – After speaking with Jeffrey Jolliffe and Leisa Jolliffe in regards to this repair I decided the price they offered of $650 for the repair would fit my financial needs. I verified with jeffrey at this time that everything that needed to be replaced would be included in this price. He agreed. I spoke with Jeffrey who assured me it would be done the following day which I was grateful for. The following day I waited for a phone call which I never received so I placed a call later in the day to find out the status. The van would be done shortly and I could head over and get it. Upon my arrival to pick the van up for the agreed amount of $650 the price had changed to $750 with no explanation or detailed information on the receipt which is illegal according to the Colorado state guidelines. I left early the next morning and made my trip 950 miles to Minnesota where the transmission began to slip. Upon arrival at the nearest safe spot to take the van I found it would not go into reverse either. After several attempts to contact Jeffrey and failed "call backs" from him as promised by his "partner in crime Leisa" because of Jeffreys tooth causing him some grief, I persisted until I contacted Jeffrey. He advised me to take the van to TSI transmission out of Cottage Grove MN who has a very reputable business with the local community so I did. The warranty issued from Xtreme auto was to cover any failure for 3 years or 36,000 miles. The vehicle made it less than 24 hours and 950 miles which should give you an idea of "their idea of a rebuilt transmission as listed on receipt". Jeffrey was in contact with the owner of TSI transmission who is well aware that this was to be a warranty repair. After TSI's inspection of the transmission the conclusion was that the transmission needed to be rebuilt(again) for the sum of $3000. I relayed this message to Jeffrey who was, at this time, agreeing to pay $700 towards the repair or send me a check for $700 as reimbursement. With funds being low and not being able to come up with the other $2300 for the repair I opted to have a check sent to me to put towards the repair when the funds were available. I waited a week after verifying my address with Jeffrey. No check. After attempting several times to contact him again but only being sidelined with multiple excuses from Leisa I was starting to get a feel for the type of people I am dealing with. After several attempts I was able to get a hold of Jeffrey, Im guessing it was a fluke that he picked up the phone, and I expressed my concern as the check had not arrived. Jeffrey, at this point, felt it would be a good idea to cancel that check and send another check via express mail which would require a signature. I agreed to this. 2 weeks later no check. I contacted Jeffrey and informed him that if I did not receive a check from hime I would have no choice but to pursue legal avenues. His response was "so sue me" and the phone went dead. I contacted the BBB at this point who Xtreme auto boasts a big fat "F" rating with do to incompetent responses and failed business practices. I have forwarded all information to the Colorado state attorney for investigation into this company and its practices. I have also spoke with the Adams county Sherriff who claims to be familiar with this company and expressed his feeling of the owner being a "sociopath who has no conscience". I asked the Sherriff how a company like this can remain functional and he informed me that this company has changed their name and relocated several times do to incompetent business practices.

The $700 he stoled from my father and I came out of the $1000 my father gets for a monthly pension. Jeffrey preys on out of town people and the eldrely because he knows he and his company cannot get any lower. Please DO NOT USE XTREME AUTO OF BRIGHTON for any services.

Xtreme RIPOFFS!! – We brought our car to these sleezy double talking people a month ago. We were told/promised one thing then at will or for no reason they change stories, prices, lie and cheat to keep your money and your car. They will NEVER give you ANYTHING in writing. They are aware the only way customers can get their cars back (in non-working order I might add) is for you to sue them. They have been sued 6-7 times in 2009 and have two curret pending cases for 2010 and are do in court in June 2010. They have no money so sueing them really does no good. They had another failed business (the 2nd of many) called Xtreme Power works in Golden Colorado that they closed because they were up to their same old sleezy tricks there too. We paid in full to have our car worked on. We would call and they would tell us "we (they) broke a new part and we need you to pay for another one." What kind of shyt is that!!?? The police have been there many... many times to aid customers in retrieveing their vheicles. (In worse shape then when they brought it there.) Jeff and Lisa in my mind have committed fraud in several different ways. They are moving from their current location to further up HWY 85 in June 2010 and they are in the process of filing bankruptcy. PLEASE NEVER DEAL WITH A FELLOW NAMED JEFF JOLLESSI OR HIS RAZOR TOUNGE WIFE LISA. THIS PLACE IS AN "XTREME" RIPOFF!!!!! JEFF IS VERY...VERY GOOD AT DOUBLE TALK AND IS "XTREMELY" CHARISMATIC AND SOOTHING TO TALK TO. DO NOT LET HIS GOOD COMMUNICATIONS/SALES SKILLS AND FAKE COMPATION FOOL YOU. LISA LOVES TO PLAY DUMB AS WELL BUT SHE IS TOTALLY IN ON THIS SCAM AND WHAT I BELIEVE TO BE FRUAD!! XTREME was even able to wow Tom Martino and the Brighton Police on a number of occasions. FUCCING RIPOFFS!!!
