Tips for Twelve Restaurant

Hidden Gem.
Although located in a less-than savory neighborhood, Twelve is a hidden gem that feels safe, comfortable, and luxurious. The perfect sized restaurant for a chef to focus on quality over quantity. Chef Osaka and Sous Chef Dane conjur up creatively inspired menus each month, showcasing some of the best flavor combinations, presentations, and high-end cooking skills in the Denver area. The service was very attentive, though not overbearing, and the wine service was knowledgable and quite helpful. During mid-week Twelve offers one of the best deals in town - 3-courses of your choice for only $35. That's is bargain for a restaurant of this caliber. I will certainly be back to see next month's menu.

Average.
We read about Twelve in 5280 magazine. And it could be pretty much summed up as: "You have to eat somewhere" and "Not a destination".
While reading the menu on the window, the waiter came outside and encouraged us to dine with them (that unto itself was weird).
They seem to try to be "cool"... but the food is average at best.
Seating is awful, unless you don't mind sitting very close to others.
Won't go back, there's too many better options in Denver.
