good hotel TERRIBLE service.
I had been to the Jameson Inn before and the visit was fantastic. Great hotel, great service and all in all a very enjoyable visit. I went to the hotel in Carmel which is a section of Indianapolis. When I stayed here with my family we used a coupon from the travel guides you get at gas stations and they accepted it graciously.
I went again on vacation and it seemed completely different. I tried to use a coupon that was from the same book but for the hotel down the road. There's another one in Castleton. The only difference is the carmel one has an indoor swimming pool and the other has an outdoor. I asked if i could use that coupon which was $10 cheaper and they threw a fit. Especially the manager named Samantha. No customer service at all. They then tried to indicate to me that they werent sure if they had rooms after I mentioned the coupon and the parking lot was bare. Needless to say I searched around but didnt have time to spend looking so I had to stay.
It just got more difficult because I had an assignment due and had trouble getting onto the internet. They make you log in to their website just to use their "free wifi". I'm mostly upset at the staff at the front desk and the management. There was no reason why they couldnt give me the $10 off. I didnt need excuses from them about the expensive area or taxes or anything else. Im the customer and should not have been treated like nothing. I work in customer service and if I acted like that I would have been fired. I work hard and don't need to hear that after a long trip or have to spend unneccessary money if I don't have to.
Long story short if you come here the ammenities are great but the staff are not.
