Ok venue, very pricy- Owners cannot conduct business – As far as clubbing goes valet parking is around twenty dollars and to get into the club is another 20. If you are someone who is looking to work with the owners on the business end- PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. The owners are very shady and if you expect any money for dancers, models or anything else you provide for them you might as well #1 get ready to fight or #2 just deal with being disappointed- they are very tricky and unreliable- male dominated so they try to use women to make them look better all the time. JUST WARNING YOU
Good and the Bad, Won't Be Back – Been to RSL three different times and I must say I wont be going again.
The Good: The DJ was pretty good; Food is decent although way overpriced ($8 for two egg rolls); Full-drink menu till 5am; Big flat screens; Hookas available and able to smoke(if you do).
The Bad: The website says there is no cover but get there after 12am and expect to pay $20-$40 plus$10 for parking; The food has small portions and is way overpriced unless you just get wings; Customer service is the worst, unless you plan on dropping at least $250 for a bottle don't even sit in the lounge seats( I had a $90 tab from food, drinks and a hookah and when someone came in willing to buy a bottle the manager abruptly said "you got to get up"--this was while we were still eating) No dance floor or place to dance eventhough it is a lounge I would expect at least somewhere for the ladies to dance.
Unless you're willing to drop some serious cash to chill till 5am and dont care how you are treated, there are much better places to eat, smoke and listen to music in the Atl.
Enjoyable night – I really enjoyed myself when I went to Room Serivce Lounge this weekend. The new manager was very nice and accomadating, unlike the previous post indicated, she wanted to ensure we had a great time. My best friend was celebrating her birthday and when I asked for special requests to make the night special, she nice about it and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this place, despite what you may have heard.
The Manager is so "Rude" – The Manager is very disrecpectful, his customer service skills are the worst..He has no respect for paying customers thats coming in room service spending money no matter the amount.. All I can say is wow if thats what you call customer service then they would do better without it...So as long as the manager Walter is running the place I say spend your time and money else where because you shouldn't have to spend money to get treated like crap!!!
Restaurant-nightclub hybrid with a colorful menu. – In Short
With the curious format of part restaurant, part lounge, part hotel bar without the hotel, Room Service Lounge is darkly decked in glass-topped tables and leather upholstered chairs. The menu is a sort of Caribbean meets Southern vibe, with dishes such as ribs, fried chicken and waffles, and even a coconut curry. While seeming like a full-fledged eatery, the room is set up more like a nightclub, complete with tons of flat-screen TVs, shiny gold curtains and a stout sound system. The more clubby aspects of the joint are found with Hennessey-laden cocktails, a cordoned off VIP area and a 3:00a.m. closing time on the weekends.
