I have been here once before and loved my stylist and cut, priced at $35. I was never told of a sliding scale in pricing so, when I called very last minute to see if they could squeeze my 13 year old in for a trim, I didn't think twice about the price. My daughter loved the stylist and the trim but when we got to the counter and after a $20 coupon the price of her trim was still $31. I was a bit taken aback but it was late and I didn't want to "make a scene." I called them today and politely inquired about the pricing, I was told about the sliding scale and that the stylist we used was more expensive, I then told the girl that it wasn't explained this when I called last minute to get her in for a trim otherwise I would have asked to go with someone who was a little less pricey.
This salon ruined my hair!!! – Amanda, the girl who cut my hair gave me the haircut she wanted completely disregarding what I had requested which was to layer my very long hair in a traditional way---I even showed her the picture of what I wanted done to ensure there were no misunderstandings. I told her to cut 2 inches of length. Instead she cut 2 inches from the back about 8 inches on the sides and shredded the hair in the back. My hair now looks like I have a short boob in the front and long shredded hair in the back. To add insult to injury, it is uneven; she tried fixing it unsuccessfully. The salon owner agreed that the haircut I received did not resemble in any way the picture I had given Amanda. She offered to refund me for the haircut and added that all I could do was let it grow. She didn’t even bother fixing the unevenness of the haircut. I know hair grows back but it will take a good year if not longer for my hair to grow back to where it was lengthwise. Some people should not be cutting hair and this girl is definitely one of them. Any salon owner who condones or encourages his/her employees to take this kind of risks with gross disregard to what the client wants has very little respect for his/her customers and shouldn’t be in business.
