I really dislike reviews that have just had a bad day. I have used this clinic for many years. They are thorough. I want my Doctor to take a complete history don't you. It is the cleanest Urgent care in town and they are run well. Walk-in clinics can be very busy but if you go back an hour later they might be slow :). The staff are caring and they bill all insurances. They take care of my Sore throats and my high blood pressure equally well. They are well regarded by other Medical Providers in the area. I know several surgeons who utilize them for clearance before surgery. Busy doctors can't always call you back, that is all they would be doing. It seems as it is they are always having to talk to insurance companies, other clinics etc. as it is so if I get a message that my labs are all normal from his staff, which they do with every visit by the way, that is all I ask. Please see me in my visit and take the time to figure out what is going on with me then. That is what I ask and they do that here. If you did not get what you wanted at this clinic perhaps you wanted the wrong thing. Dissing quality is like washing soap totally unnecessary. This is a good clinic and highly recommend them.
I used to like this clinic till I tried for 4 days to get a provider to talk to me on the phone in person. I will not be returning to this clinic, all I wanted was to speak to a provider in person and all I got was office workers relaying messages and to me this is unacceptable. I felt avoided and that my concerns were not important enough to be addressed by the providers to me in person (or by phone). Find someplace that will treat you like you matter.
Receptionist, CMA, Clinical Staff all Unprofessional.. Why?
They Mirror the Behavior of Dr. Jackson.
Took my son in today for flu-like symptoms: fever 101.8, chills, nausea, coughing aches cold/hot etc. Dr. Jackson wants to review my sons entire medical history. I ask him why is this relaveant he says I'm being argumentativ, asking to many questions making it medically impossible to treat my son. I explained to Dr. Jackson that with all do respect he had seen my son 2x previously and has privy to his medical history, that we were not there to discuss his history but his chief complaint of flu-like symptoms. Dr. Jackson sarcasticly, obnoxiously snickers, rolls his eyes, licks his fingers and turns the page of my chart and tells me.. "You're not allowing me to treat your son for minningitis" Then he quickly gets out of the chair and ask my son and I to leave because mininningits was what he had and I was making it impossible for him to treat him for that.
Based on my now 3x visiting Patient First it is my opinion that Dr. Jackson and his staff are unprofessional. Likewise Dr. Jackson is biased, inconsiderate, and has zero integrity. He lacks any bedside manor to a sick patient let alone a child. He clearly brings into the exam room not just the patient chart but his personal opinions, judgements, and biases about issues such as: insurance, reasons patients are being seen, frequency, ethnicity etc. I would not recommend Dr. Jackson or Patient First.
Incompetent Staff – I had a couple of bad experiences with the Receptionist Staff at this Clinic however, Dr. Jackson addressed the issue and personally apologized for my inconvenience. I greatly appreciate his concern for his patients and Im very satisfied with the level of professionalism my situation was handled with. Dr. Jackson is a great Doctor that really cares about his patients. HIs personal touch is an added plus.
Early Morning Strep Fast – We were quickly taken care of. Staff were effcient and the Nurse practitioners were excellent. son had strep throat and we were back home before school started!
Awesome Caring Clinic – I was diagnosed appropriately and given the correct car for my diabetes. My specialists all say they are a great clinic with knowledgeable Nurse Practitioners. My appointments are quick and I am given all the time I need. Walkin's can be a wait because they are popular.
Rude Medical Professional – I have taken my children to see Bennett Jackson on several occasions. Always in the afternoon on a walk in basis. Generally the wait time is not too long and although he comes off as smug he takes care of the issue and send us on our way. Today I took my youngest son into the office due to swollen glands in his neck. After waiting for two hours I simply asked him if this long of a wait is typical in the morning (since I usually do walk ins in the afternoon). Mr. Jackson apparently too offense to this question, which I did not ask in a confrontational manner and told me that if I didn't like it I could leave and proceeded to begin chuckling and smiling, belittling me. I have never been treated so rudely by a medical care provider and decided to leave without my son being examined. I went to the front desk asked if I was going to be billed for this awful visit and the response was, 'possibly'. I will not ever return to this office which my family has visited so many times.
