Great Atmosphere – My Daughter took me to Thai taste for my last birthday, and I must say, I absolutely loved the food! Speedy service, hot and fresh food, and The staff was very friendly. I can't wait to visit again!

Love Thai Taste – Hands down the best thai food in Charlotte. Thai Taste is a staple and we actually crave their food. They use very fresh ingredients and I have yet to be disappointed. I highly recommend going here. We moved here from the DC area where the restaurant competition is very high and this place is as good if not better then many of the places we frequented.

Bad Selection Terrible Prices – The food had no taste except that of the heavy spices used. The selection was poor, and for two lunches and two drinks, the ticket came to over $21.

Will not recommend nor frequent ever again.

Thai Taste – Great customer service, great food, great prices. I was craving thai food when I came back from Thailand, so found this gem of a place when I googled up Charlotte. Been there for 20 years so I figured "hell, I'll give it a try" and found myself addicted to the place. My recommendation: Pad Kee Mou, best hangover food in the world!

Thai Restaurants ...no contest. – Ate at quite a few thai restaurants and I can honestly say Thai Taste has the competition beat. Lunch time can be quite a zoo as people sometimes wait in line in get in here. But food can come out in a matter of minutes. Good food, good price = win.

Only problem was no sweet tea : Should be a crime in the south.

Unic location customer service leaves a LOT to be desired – Customer service at this restaurant is awful!

A few gal pals went to try it last night with the majority not having tried Thai before and probably won't try it again - at least not at the East Arbors venue of Thai Taste...

There were 8 of us and 3 had coupons from the Clipper magazine that stated BOGO entree. However the waitress told us we could only use one coupon per table. (now I know that this is often the case but if that is so, it is PRINTED on the coupon which is wasn't in this case). We tried to reason with the waitress about this policy but were shut down and when we asked to speak someone in management we were told there was no one higher than her on the premises

Anyway, we sucked it up and had a fun night out (no thanks to the restaurant though ) but when it came time to pay, the bill was placed on the table as ONE list of ordered items (depite having asked for separate checks) and we had to get up and go to the cashier and pay for our order individually. So if we were treated as individuals when paying, why not accept the coupons as it didn't make any difference about whether we were a party of 8 or 2 as each one had to pay individually anyway???

I STRONGLY suggest you avoid this restaurant. The experience was not a pleasant one which is a pity as it had potential.

Poor customer service – university location=not great customer service. i went to this location recently with a group of friends. we had coupons for BOGO dinner (good only at university location). when we presented our coupons, the waitress stated that she could only accept one coupon per table. that information is not printed on the coupon; no qualifying information is printed on the coupon. when we said we were paying separately she again said that she would not accept the coupons. unfortunately no manager was there to help us (so she said), and we were too hungry to get up and leave. I guess they really don't need any repeat business from us. overall the food was good but the customer service is holding me back from giving this place 5 stars. Be warry if you are trying to save some money and use coupons; the customer service is not great. i give the food 5 stars, but just for the service alone only 2 stars.

Best Authentic Thai in Charlotte or any other area. My husband is Thai, and it is the only place that fixes what he misses from home.. – The atmosphere on East Blvd is very pleasent, but we really enjoy going to the Matthews location, the manager is one of the nicest people you could ever meet, and takes quality and authentication seriously. They always have interesting specials on a board as you walk in, try the sea bass, it is out of this world. My husband (Thai Born and Raised) says that it is food like that, which really make him miss home. If you like things spicey, they can do that, be careful what you wish for, but the chefs are more than happy to do something different.

Instead of the Pad Thai, (which is very very good) branch out and try a Red Curry, Duck Curry, or Pad See eww (name butchering) , Pad Kee Mow. Or the Tom Yum soup, or lettuce wraps.

Really great food, and if your in matthews say hi to Golf!

Thai Taste downtown Matthews – What a hidden pearl. This second restaurant of Thai Taste on East Blvd. is 100 percent better than it's predecessor if that is possible. It is fine dining at it's very best. The flavor of the food is exceptional and the Chef prepares all the dishes with hardly any oil. I recommend the Sar Tah chicken skewers with the fabulous peanut sauce. The fresh Summer Rolls are crispy and delicious. Tom Kha is a Thai coconut cream soup that takes a couple of bites to acustom to it's unique flavor but will have you coming back for seconds. The Gaeng Jerd soup is equally delicious. The Pad Thai is the best around as is their Ped Gra Pow, just to name a few. As good as Bankok Ocha is Thai Taste is better; I give it a 10. The atmosphere is elegant the service is impeccable and the food spectacular.

Oldest Thai restaurant in Charlotte – I've been in Charlotte for ten years, and Thai Taste has been around since 1988! All the dilworth residents flock to this awesome Thai restaurant for more than a decade. Get to see lots of friends, co-workers, and neighbors. It is like a little asian joint for neighborhood. Pad Thai is the BEST!! Duck and basil leave is a must too.
