Not off to a good start. This review is for the newly-opened Martha's location at 13259 Blanco Road, near Bitters. My family and some friends went there on Feb 27, as it had newly opened and is reasonably close to my home. The food was not bad (but certainly nothing special), but the noise level inside was incredible. The place was busy, probably because it had just opened. The acoustics are extremely poor as there is no carpeting on the floor, no wall hangings, and no acoustic tiles on the ceiling. Therefore, conversation was next to impossible, and dining there was a most uncomfortable experience. Service was poor and the food delivered was not what was ordered, but I'll write that off to the crowd,and also the fact that the waitstaff probably didn't have any idea as what they were supposed to do. In any event, even if the food and service were better, I still wouldn't return due to the noise level. Unfortunately, if this situation does not change, Martha's at this location will soon go the way of the many failed restaurants that occupied this address in the past.
