I would not recommend this office . Dr. Popp does what is called "up coding" which means he bills your insurance for every possible thing he can. For example, I went in for a well check with my children. One of them had a stubborn wart so he said no problem, he had a spray he could spray on it. I thought, wow, what a nice guy...That was until I received my bill. He charged us $120 for the little spray he did--which did not get rid of the wart, and he charged us for both the well visit and sick visit. My insurance doesn't cover anything but well visits and nothing outside of that until we meet our deductible, so you can imagine my shock when I received a bill for $75 for the sick visit and another $120 for the spray. Second offense, another well visit and turned out my child had a cold, so they checked ears to make sure there was no fluid in the ears, I was charged $3.29, then they said they discussed athsma--which we did NOT, because I would have freaked out that my kid had asthma, but nevertheless I was charged $15, then $20 for albuterol and $17 for the breathing treatment. Also charged $15 for a developmental evaluation. And then of course because the doctor discovered a cold, we were charged another $75 for a sick visit in addition to our well visit charge of $142. That's a bunch of Bull!! Just because its legal doesn't mean its right. I can't go to a doctor that is so dishonest with his billing practices. And I can't afford to pay $300 out of pocket for every visit to his practice.

San Antonio Texas Best Pediatrician – I would like to personally thank Dr. Popp for his wonderful care of my new granddaughter that was born over the Christmas holiday. My daughter had a C-section and on Thursday

Dec 23, 2010. Dr. Popp came everyday to check on the baby, they were in the hospital thru Dec 26, 2010. He was very attentive to details and patient with all the questions my daughter had with her new baby girl. He took his time even though he probably would have rather been at home with his family. He is also my two year old grandsons pediatrician. He enjoys going to the new clinic and playing in the waiting room. It is very kid friendly and a fun place to be even when you are sick. The wait is not very long and his attention to detail is wonderful. He has a way of making a new parent feel assured that any questions or concerns are important and he takes the time to answer them. I would recommend him to any of my friends. I trust his professional opinion completely and his ability to take care of children.
