PF Chang Northlake – I decided to take my husband to the northlake location for his birthday. We sat on the patio for a wonderful quiet dining experience. We had an awesome waiter with a great personality. We ordered the 4 course which was amazing until we got to the dessert. It was really a sad finale to delicious meal. You would expect so much more with a $50 bill before tip.Not a complaint; just a recommendation. I do hope they will consider an upgrade on the dessert. Overall, excellent!
Can I have some ffood with that salt – When I first had P.F. Changs in Long Island, I loved it!
The whole concept and size variations was refreshing. Years later I tried it at Phillips place and it was way too salty. If they can cut back on the salt or even have option of low salt , I would call this my favorite place. Your daily maximum intake of sodium should be less then 2000mg, you cross this limit probably with the appetizer alone.
The Best – The food is Awesome, they got tastes for everyone, people who like spicy food, vegiterians, etc. Guess what, is not a buffet and prices are a little high, but it is the cheapest in the Southpark area, and is worth it. Service is fair, sometimes you get a good server and sometimes you don't, but i always come back for the food.
Shopping Mall Chic – A lot of these reviewers tell a common tale....."Oh, the food is absolutely delicious.. I ALWAYS get the 'whatever' and the 'whichever.' You have to try it."
Any restaurant in the world probably has at least one or two decent dishes. Chinese eating should be an experiment of sampling a variety of flavors, not getting the same thing over and over and over again. This food is so Americanized, I expect to see a little American flag on a toothpick stuck in every dish.
When I go to most any restaurant, I try to order something I've never had there before. You can't eat the same thing every time and expect your review to be credible. The food at Chang's is passable-tasting and over-priced.
5 Stars – I would recommend Changs to anyone.
It is a very beautiful restaurant in the heart of Phillips Place, with great food and superior service.
I visit Changs several times a year with my family and friends. It's perfect for a birthday get-togethers, family dinners, girls night out, etc.
I always get the Calamari or the Lettuce Wraps to start off.
Their calamari==amazing. this is a sure thing.
For a nice healthy refreshing app. I would suggest the wraps.
I have been to the bar a couple times with friends and the bartenders are fabulous!!! Very friendly and are on top of things.
The dessert shooters are to die for. You really can't go wrong with any of them. All of them are delicious and not too big not too small.
It is an upscale place but the prices are reasonable. :)
If you haven't been to Changs before....GO! You won't regret it
Perfect. – The food is excellent. Served quick and hot. If your complaining about the food, you had the wrong server. Make sure you ask for Ben. We did have to wait a long time to be seated which was really frustrating when you can see open tables and they remain open through out your meal. Hope they were saving that seat for someone who paid that server a fat tip. Anywho, the wait is always worth it. Ben waited on us the first time and it was amazing, the whole experience. Excellent service, excellent recommendations, excellent personality, excellent pace; he should be running the show. The last time, Lisa waited on us. Not a good server, but I can look past that once or twice, especially once I get the food. She was overbearing and very pushy to the point of annoyance and I couldn't enjoy my food. Also, haven't you ever heard of silent service? I mean, if your going to interrupt a conversation, please excuse your self, that is how we act in the South. We just ignored her after awhile. The background music is most appropriate and I didn't have to hear other tables conversations. Oh, and be sure to get desert - the shot glass sizes are perfect if you want desert, but your already stuffed! I can't wait to go back a third time, with reservations and I'll make sure to ask for Ben!
I didn't give them 5 stars because of the last service we received there, from Lisa, which is and was disappointing, but we will go back and I can't wait!
AMAZING spring wraps – The spring wraps were the best thing I have ever had at a chinese bistro. Perfectly delectible. Will go back soon!
Delicious – I recently took my wife to the P F Changs on Phillips Place, we are new to the area and wanted chinese food. Thanks to 'urban spoon' and my nifty iPhone the decision was made instantaneously. The service and food here was exceptional, only advice is to make reservations for the weekend!!!
HORRIBLE FOOD,NEVER EVER EAT AT THIS PLACE!! – If you wanna waste money and your time, then this place is absolutely appropriate.
Service was horrible and food quantity & quality both very poor with no taste at all.Dessert was overpriced ,and they were in display ,with no price tags on them.Once you get a check, then you'd realize the price of the dessert.
We ordered Five spiced Tofu & Buddhas Feast, and there were very few pieces of Tofu in it and all there was brocolli and sauce.
We've been to lot of Chinese restaurants, and this was the worst of all.
I'd never ever visit this place in my lifetime again.
This gussied-up chain bustles with singles and families craving Chinese food favorites. – In Short
Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.
