Wow is all I have to say. We brought friends and family to celebrate our dad’s birthday. The food was impressive. What a steak house, this is by far one of the great dining restaurant in the area. The staff was more than accommodating and the food, well let’s just say we all left stuffed.
The manager Christian is really sweet and understanding. A customers satisfaction was his only concern. The food is also very good; our steaks were cooked perfect and the music was very soothing.
We went to this restaurant our first night in Maui. It was within walking distance from our hotel. Our waitress was very pleasant and could not do more for us. The drinks came in carved out pineapples. We had filet mignon which melted in your mouth. Food came promptly and cooked to our liking. Meal was a bit pricey but that is to be expected in Hawaii. We would not hesitate to go back to this restaurant.
You know you're in good hands when your sushi chef tells you as you sit down, he'll make you anything you like. This being Hawaii, we anticipated good fresh fish and we were not disappointed. The hamachi was the best and freshest we've ever had, including high prices places in Los Angeles and New York. Our chef and bartender were gracious and friendly.
From 3 to 6 pm daily, Black Angus offers half off on their bar menu, as well as crazy drink specials. We tried the Artichoke, Sweet Corn & Lobster Fritters, the Buffalo Wings, the Steamer Clams & the Korean Short Ribs. All were worthy of another visit.
My spouse’s steak you could cut it with a fork. We stop for breakfast and we had steak and eggs it was cooked the way we wanted not the way they thought we wanted. Our friends go there for happy hour specials several times a week. Raul is owner and chef . He has 2 other places on the island of Maui. We have now been to all three. We enjoy each different style.
Great service. One of our favorites for date night. We'll come keep coming!
A great accommodating kitchen. Crab legs were delicious. Food was good here at R B Black Angus Steak House.
Despite the mixed reviews online, I trusted several locals suggestion and tried RB Black Angus Steakhouse. My spouse , granddauther and I sat at the sushi bar and had a fantastic meal served by the owner. Although he claims not to be a formally trained sushi chef he prepared some outstanding rolls and sushi favorites. Between the 3 of us we tried most of the rolls on the sushi menu. All were wonderful. The only item which was just OK was the Ahi Poki, it was good but not exceptional. The RB Special roll was our favorite, even of my 10 year old granddaughter, who can be very finicky loved it. Although a 10 year old may not have the most discerning palate she knows what she likes and we all agreed.
Every steak & seafood dish was fabulous, and desert, wow the best créme brulee outside of France!
