Worst experience I have ever had in a garage. Their service department are crooks who look to take advantage of their customers . I had to remind the guy who was helping me that I was in fact a customer, as he was extremely disrespectful when I refused the overpriced and unnecessary repairs he tried to force me to get by way of a failed inspection, then proceeded to threaten to report anyone who passed my Chevrolet Truck to the state. Basically, he thought because I needed and inspection, it was a good opportunity to force me to get over $1900 of work done or not pass my truck. Took it to a real mechanic, who said everything was fine just replace a bulb on my stop bar (cost me $5.00).
Let me just repeat for emphasis. I went in for an inspection. I left with a failed inspection, a threat that anyone who passed me would be reported to the state, and a estimate for $1930.44 to replace a front strut and a ball joint. Criminals!!!
This is the worst business that I have ever dealt with. I have dealt with City Chevrolet on 2 occasions. My first occasion was 4 years ago my car got broken into in the gated lot and everything was stolen there wasn’t police report made or anything and the manager there basically repaired it and gave me hush money and not to contact law enforcement. I again had my car towed there because it was conveniently located after my accident. I had constantly called them and they would rarely return my calls for about 4 weeks. I actually just had to pop up at the center and asked to see what has been done to my car. I was taken back there and it was just sitting there no work being done or anything and it had already been about 4 weeks. I had to contact management and my insurance liaison to get on them to get my vehicle done in a timely manner. I then received my car back a week and a half after that. I immediately noticed that my car still had issues and contacted City again that my car was still damaged. I left voicemail after voicemail and no returned call. I had to physically go up there and demand them to look at my car. I get a call and they tell my car was involved in another accident and my car bottomed out and their proof (which was them taken some pliers or something and bending out the metal) I’m no car expert but I know how my car looks and how it operates. I then contacted my liaison once again and then they change their story saying it was a faulty tire. My paint job sucked (paint didn’t match and paint streaks), my door rubbing against my fender, the ride was rough, the bumper wasn’t even connected properly. So I just got feed up and took my car to another collision specialist and he looked at it and noticed issues immediately and was wondering why City Chevrolet didn’t notice and there were numerous issues with my repairs. Once they looked in more depth they noticed that my car had been damaged at city and they tried to cover it up by repairing it and putting it on my insurance, which had nothing to do with my original incident. It also looked as if my car had been dropped and caused more damage my car alignment is all off and I am actually in the process of taking legal action against them. Save your self the time, headache, and stress and go elsewhere. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with them and wouldn’t trust them with an oil change. This place should be called Shi*y Chevrolet.
Great Experience – I recently purchased a car from City Chevrolet and my experience from the first phone call I made to signing the final paperwork was exceptional. I dealt with Adrian in sales and he was top notch. I had been to more than a few dealerships prior to going to City and my interactions with them had been pretty stereotypical; aka – headache. This was not the case with Adrian. He listened to what I wanted and delivered. He was very knowledgeable about the car and answered any and all questions I had. Not to mention, he was a super nice guy. When I decided to purchase the vehicle, I dealt with Josh in finance. He carefully explained everything to me as I signed the paperwork. I never once felt like I was being taken advantage of or swindled. Being new to the Charlotte area and to North Carolina, I had a number of questions about obtaining license plates, drivers license, inspections, etc., and Josh answered all of my questions. When the paperwork was done, Adrian took me to my new car and it was spotless and had a full tank of gas. I drove away as one very satisfied customer. In my line of work, customer service is paramount to our success. If our customer’s are not happy then we don’t perform well. I will say it again, my experience at City Chevrolet was exceptional. Thank you, Adrian, Josh and team for your efforts and your time – you have turned me into a long time customer. I do have one outstanding item: I asked both Josh and Adrian for a good place to get Carolina BBQ and they both recommended the same restaurant. I haven’t had a chance to go so the jury is still out…
Servicing of my daughters vehicle – My daughter who lives in Charlotte NC needed a 50K mile service on her vehicle.
I live in Southern California so needed a service center that I could trust.
After speaking to the staff at City Chevrolet I was comfortable that they would come through.
The service was completed in an honest and effective way.
I can truly recommend their honesty and quality of work and will defintely do business with them again.

My Experience At City Chevrolet – I have purchased quite a few vehicles from City Chevrolet over the past 20 years. I have also had a few vehicles repaired in their collision center. They were always fixed great and always stood behind the work. My past purchases were very good experiences, but this was by far, the absolute best experience due to two things: the salesman Andy Snyder and the new Chevrolet Cruze! With all of the Honda hype, I visited a Honda dealership beforehand just to see for myself. The Honda Civic does not even compare to the Chevy Cruze, and there is a 5-7k price difference! If you are in the market for a new car, do yourself a favor, take a drive over to City Chevrolet and ask for Andy Snyder. The Chevrolet Cruze absolutely has every little cool feature that you will use over and over. It has been almost a month since my purchase, and it feels like every day I discover something cool in this neat, little 2011 car as far as
