Dr. Nomi is overly aggressive in his
treatment as compared to other dentists. I would not recommend him or Bridle Trails Family Dentistry.
I went to Dr. Nomi for a checkup as a new patient based on a recommendation from a friend. I was not having any issues with my teeth. Upon examining my x-rays Dr. Nomi told me that I had 5 cavities and that 2 of them were more serious and needed to be filled soon. Since I hadn't had any cavities in nearly 20 years, it seemed odd that I suddenly had 5. I decided to see another dentist for a second opinion. The result of this second exam was that I only had 1 small cavity.
We have good insurance. It would have paid to have 2 or all 5 cavities filled. But of course I'd rather not have a bunch of holes in my teeth unless it's really needed. It seems to me that Dr. Nomi overtreats. I won't be going back.
The cleaning and x-rays went well. The hygenists are friendly, skilled, and gentle. The office is clean and well organized.
