chemical smell, moderate facilities.
slight to moderate smell of chemical solvents in the air. presumably this is from the sound proofing material sprayed over the ceiling. In about 1-2 years I'd bet most of it should have off-gassed and this place will be perfect for a quick stop in cardio.
A one room gym, only 1-2 of each type of muscle group machine at this time but rows of treadmills and bikes.

Amazing Gym in U-district, cheap!. Located in Seattle near the University District, this gym I just joined is outrageous. They offered me a sweet deal (not sure if it's for college kids, but they gave it to me anyway - and I'm not). Good location near I-5 and I think the college kids work out at different times than me 5 pm, because it hasn't been crowded!
