My wife and I have employed Black Pest since it acquired National many years back. We have always been very satisfied with the prompt response you have given our concerns. In the last month Black Pest added two more of our properties to the other two under your care. Bill and Chad were both professional and personal in their handling the treatments. I called into the call center and spoke with Kathy about a pest control service contract for my home. She explained how your process worked, took down my info, and scheduled Chris to meet me at the house a couple of days later.

Chris showed up on-time (early, even!) and took great care to check out the interior, exterior and crawlspace. He explained the different contract options and the pros and cons of each, and offered his recommendation. I settled on the basic pest protection package, and after dropping off the paperwork, Jon was assigned to do the initial treatment.

Jon also showed up on-time for the appointment. He explained what types of treatments he was going to apply and why. After he was finished, he asked if I had any questions or concerns, and left a work order detailing the treatments that he applied.

Every step of the way, your staff has been polite, professional, and thorough. Every appointment was on-time, every question was answered, and every price was very reasonable. Your staff never requested a long window of time for an appointment, as is common with other household vendors. Your automatic monthly billing means that I don’t have to remember to write a check every month. In short, the entire experience was excellent and I will certainly recommend your services to others.

I wanted to let you know how proud I am to be a customer of Black Pest Termination. Whenever I call the office, a pleasant person answers the phone and is able to answer my question or connect me with someone who can. In particular, I wanted to make sure that you all know what a treasure Tobin is. I have had the complete pleasure of speaking with Tobin on several occasions about some of my concerns. He is ALWAYS polite, prompt to return my calls, incredibly professional, genuinely concerned about my concerns as a customer, and generally a top-notch customer service employee. It is rare to find a company who is committed to creating (and maintaining) happy customers; with Tobin on board I have no doubts that my concerns have been heard and are taken seriously. In fact, two other pest control companies approached me recently and encouraged me to "save a couple bucks" by switching to them. I was clear with both sales people that regardless of what prices they could guarantee me, I would not leave Black because of the superior customer service that I've received time and time again. I'm sure that you guys juggle complaints often, I hope that this short email brightens your day. Also, if you wouldn't mind, please email this to anyone else at the company who would appreciate it.

I usually go to the gym early and hurried to get home to meet the man by our 7-8AM appointment. As I returned home, I saw a Black Pest truck parked around the corner from my home, waiting for the 7 o'clock hour to arrive. It was reassuring to me to know that he would be on time and my day wouldn't be delayed waiting. Promptly at 7, he was at my door.

He introduced himself and explained what his visit would entail. He quickly and thoroughly inspected the perimeter of the inside of my home. He reiterated the importance of the annual inspections, the coverage provisions should there be a termite infestation, the importance of early detection and the value of my service with Black Pest Control. Santiago then completed his paperwork, reminded me to call if I have pest or termite concerns and thanked me for choosing Black Pest Control.

Santiago was prompt, polite, courteous and professional.

With a history of dealing with dishonest contractors, etc., I am not a very trusting soul but I didn't feel for a moment that Blackpest

was trying to "pull one over on a female".



Sometimes, for the MOST part, I have found that companies and individuals see a woman as a complete fool and do their dead level best

to take advantage of her. This has been my experience so you can see why I am so grateful for the attention to detail on this job.



Yes, I know, only so much chemical can be used, the shorter the time on the job, the greater the profit, etc but that's a part of

everyday business in this world and I don't feel that I was cheated in any way.



So, I say to you that I will always refer anyone who has a need of your services, be it pest control or termites to Black .

My wife and I have been customers since 1995. We have always had excellent routine service. My wife was recently scouring our great room hardwood floor when she felt weak spots and was able to punch through the spots with her fingernail. We called to have someone come out and inspect the area and tell us what action needed to be taken. We want to highly praise the outstanding service we got from Tobin, Jeff and Raul. The repair work was expertly done and we are very pleased with the service and work.

Big Thanks – I have been a customer of Black Pest in Charlotte, NC since 2007.I must say I am and have been completely satisfied. I have even recommended two friends who are also pleased with the prompt service. Most recently, we had a mouse in the kitchen which was seen on a Sunday. Course, my husband put up about nine traps and nothing was on any of them Monday. Course, Monday upon opening I called Black, initially told me it would be Wednesday before they could come out after I explained I COULD N0T possible go my kitchen let alone function in it, they sent my regular technician out by noon. He put poison under the house, he inspected the kitchen and gave his suggestions as to how the mouse got in. Needless, to say the mouse was caught the next day and I am ALMOST comfortable in my kitchen again. Thanks again for your prompt and professional customer service.

What They Say vs. What You Get – A year before I put my house up for sale, I wanted to be sure everything was in order. In that process, I contacted BlakPest, who had treated the house during construction, and had them come to inspect. The Sales Rep claimed better products were now available, recommended a treatment, and also recommeded a maintenance program,

I made sure he knew I'd be selling the house (which is the reason I contacted them to begin with), and asked how this affects the contract. The Rep said that when I sell, I would not have to continue payments, but that the buyers could have the plan transferred to them.

Upon selling the house, I contacted BlackPest, who then told me that I was responsible for the 2 year plan, and the only way to get out of the contract was if the new owners had it transferred to them.

I can only assume that the Sales Rep lied to ge me to sign up for the maintenance program. When I told BlackPest what happened, their only response was that I am responsible for the full 2 year contract, and there was nothing I could do. I told them I would make my experience known to anyone I can.

Beware of BlackPest.

Stay Away – Stay as far away from this company as you can. They purchased Williard's Termite & Pest customer recently. If you are a current Willard customer find a new company now. This company has brought its big city attitude and work ethic to Charleston.
