DO NOT ENTER THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!! WORST IN CHARLOTTE! – First of all I really hate that I had to even give them a 1 star.. I wish they had negative stars on here.

Anyways.... My AC unit was broken before I even moved in, once I got in and asked them to fix it, it took two weeks for them to fix it... No one would return my phone call I had to go up to the office and talk to someone not once not twice but THREE times.

Management sucks, the front people suck. The only actually nice people there are the utility guys..

I wouldnt even waste my time writing this if they werent as bad as I am saying they are... Worse year of my life.. I actually moved home before my lease was up and still payed for the damn apartment because I couldnt stand dealing with this awful people!

STAY AWAY. DRIVE PAST. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!

They suck the money out of you – I moved into Pavilion almost 3 years ago. At the time they were running good specials for the two bedroom that I lived in. Shortly after moving in, you realize why reviews are so bad. The first few months are ok. Then they start sucking the money out of you.

Several times management messed up our account balance stating that we owed more than we actually did. Any work order you put in gets lost or takes weeks before they fulfill it. I learned to start fixing things on my own

Maintenance started spying on me because my boyfriend would visit with our dog. He was a German shepherd and those aren't allowed on premises, for who knows what reason. They would only visit for two days or so, and as soon as the maintenance guy would see him he would stalk my boyfriend and see what apartment he was going into. On several occasions, he would stand out on his balcony and pretend to be smoking. Absolutely ridiculous.

I moved out March 1st. I was told that if any remained balance on my acct, I would receive a call and a letter. Well two and a half months later, I still have not received a letter. But I HAVE received an email saying I owed money and they are sending me to credit collections on monday (today is friday). I drove over there and raised hell because this is absurd. I have never once been late on a bill and I refuse for them to ruin my credit because they are lazy and irresponsible. I was told by head management that it was my responsibility to call and ASK if I had a remaining balance. I currently owe $325 for stupid charges that are up most crap.

Corporate will be hearing about this case. Save your money...don't move here. They will squeeze every dime you have out of you.

DON'T Live Here! – When I signed my lease here I thought I was getting a good price on a good-sized apartment. But I guess you get what you pay for. Since the day I moved in here I have had problems with living here. First of all I was lied to when I signed my lease. I was told there were no other apartments available, but when I moved in there was 3 empty apartments in my building alone. They are very pushy in the leasing office as well. I was given 1 day to sign my lease and 3 days to turn in my deposit. I wanted more time to think about it but I was told they would raise the price of my rent after that day. (If you are put in this situation... walk away. I wish I had.)

The amount of policies and papers that are made just to annoy you are huge. I would like to sign my lease, move in, and live worry free. This apartment complex is certainly not worry free. When I first moved in I had a problem with my apartment and the maintenance man came by to fix it but said there was no problem. After I complained a second time he came to fix it. If he wasn't lazy in the first place the problem would have been fixed. I am a busy person who doesn't get home early enough every day to keep stopping in the office.

Another huge problem I have with this complex is the parking situation. It is horrible. Outside my building there isn't even enough parking for every apartment to have 1 spot. So this presents a problem when there are two people living in an apartment. There are simply not enough spaces for everyone to park. If you have visitors forget them being able to park close. I often have friends who don't want to visit because they don't want to walk so far to their cars at night and they don't want to get their cars towed again. So, if you work late, or you come home late, you are guaranteed to have to walk quite a distance to get to your apartment. And there is no one patrolling the apartment complex like the leasing office claims. So, there is quite a chance that if you come home late at night something could happen to you.

And to add to this list of problems I've have had in the five months I have lived here is the noise. I am a working adult who needs to go to bed at a decent hour and wake up early. This has certainly not been possible many nights. Along with my neighbor below me blasting the music, the people drunk and screaming outside my apartment at night, the people screamed and throwing things in the pool late at night have kept me awake. I have also looked out because of the noise in the pool and seen people having relations in the pool. That, in my opinion, is just nasty. I refuse to get into the pool now. The office has plenty of policies posted and communicated, but the important ones are not enforced, only the ones who irritate you and make you pay more money are enforced.

So, in my opinion, anyone who is a working adult, or anyone with a family, or anyone who needs any type of worry-free living should not sign a lease at this apartment. Your life will become more of a pain than a pleasure.

WORST APT COMPLEX – NOISE is a serious problem.

staff is not helpfel at all. they do not want to deal with current residents or address any situations.

parking is a nightmare.

workmanship is poor, not safe (lots of cars broken into and stolen).

I feel like the ceiling is gonna fall on me.

TOWING & VANDALISM, NOISE, SAFETY ISSUES – A friend recently moved to this complex and I came to visit for no more than thirty minutes the other night and my car was towed. I was told by the management that the policy is in place because basically people that live there are too lazy to walk and they are complaining of visitors parking in spots nearby to buildings. Because of this laziness it cost me $120 and I had to sleep on the floor at a friend's apartment there because she just moved in and they would not let me pick up my car until 7am (car was towed around 9pm) so I was also late for work.

On the subject of vandalism, I have had my car broken into and so has a friend that came to visit someone there. $350 to replace a window is not exactly within my throwaway budget. Nothing was stolen on either car because the alarms went off. They used to have a security patrol car circle the complex at night but we all know the effectiveness of that is worthless.

I am certainly NOT recommending this apartment complex to ANYONE whatsoever and I will strongly encourage anyone I meet that currently lives there to leave. Thanks for the expensive inconvenience.

drive right past this place...not worth it! – The laundry list of complaints I could describe to potential renters is entirely too long for this space. I'm a student and this place makes the dorms look like Shangri-La. Don't ever rent from here; it will be an indelible MISTAKE!

Some of the FEATURED ISSUES:

***Substandard Internet Connection provided by the technologically inept at Reflex Cable

***A shoddy accounting system that allows for outstanding balances owed to Duke Power to result in their residents losing power for days and innumerable amounts of money in refrigerated food

***Employees with the intelligence of a radish who routinely lose packages that residents trust they can leave in their "capable hands"???

***Unreliable maintenance staff who seem to get paid to scratch the family jewels rather than to perform repairs and track lovely footprints onto carpets

***hastily built, barely finished apartments where few electrical outlets function and holes in the drywall cover the walls
