NOW in crackville Santa Ana!!. Nikkis Indian food was owned by some very nice people when they had muliptle locations, and being by South Coast Plaza, and now the new owners have capitalized on Niikis good name and are way over priced for a little dumppy place in crackville Santa Ana.

What discussed me about the way the owners do business is the price...... they state one price, and it is like 6.99.... and when you pay it comes out to $10.... WHAT!!!!!! WHY? and then when you ask they give you attitude..... I mean really? I was in there and bought a 3 item combo... it was 10 soimething.... I went today and bought a 2 item combo... and it was 9.42.. OK 9.42 for 2 cups of cooked RICE, and about 6- 1" peices of chicken ( 3 each type) and 1 NAAN ... Crazy...... I can eat in Cerritos for 5.95 all you can eat Indian Food..... without the rude owners acting as if they are the only Indians that exsist that can cook. And the Naan was old. Nikkis has gone to SH*T thats what I have to say for the nasty place next to the methadone clinic.

Best fast-food Indian food. I LOVE NIKI's! With that said, let me tell you about their food. As an Indian born and raised in Orange County, I find it difficult to find Indian food that tastes different than the usual Indian buffets I encounter. Which is why I have been going to Niki's for over 10 years now. Their food is different and tasty and never gets old - in fact, they keep adding more interesting items to their menu, with everything tasting great. My favorite dishes are the chicken tikka and chicken shahi (this is a mild dish for those of you who are not into spicy food). Also great is their lamb curry and spicy mushrooms. The owners are incredibly friendly and very accommodating to my family and friends whenever we visit their restaurant. It's definitely a little known place, kind of hidden in the shopping center, but this place is a gem. I highly recommend you visit Niki's to see what it is that I have been going back for for over 10 years.

Okay Indian food. If you're really desperate & craving Indian food. It's afforable and fast but I've had better Indian food. Was really craving chicken tikki masala and was disappointed, it wasn't as flavorful as I hope it would be. I'll give it another shot and try their other items but so far the food is just okay.
