Great coffee, exceptional service, very reasonably priced.
I visited Loco Lus for the first time today and although it is located in a strip mall (like most things in Raleigh) I was pleasantly surprised. I was immediately greeted with a warm smile from the owner and he quickly introduced himself and told me about his shop. I ordered a cafe au lait and it was a smooth roast, reasonably priced and great quality.
The interior of the shop is cozy with several options for seating- couches, tables, and a bar along one wall. There is also music on the weekends so one corner has a keyboard, organ and some microphones. Local art is displayed on the wall and there is reading material scattered throughout the shop.
I enjoyed my visit here and will definitely be back!
