Very disappointed – I was visiting family in Wrentham and we went here for dinner late on a Saturday(6/12) evening. We were seated quickly despite the fact that it was very busy and our waitress Annie was very nice. However, we were very disappointed in the food. It came out piecemeal with my son's pizza coming out way before anyone else's food. I ordered Stuffies - stuffed quahog's - as an appetizer and it came after my meal. They were not worth getting anyways as they were all breading. My stuffed shrimp were good but cold and the mashed potatoes that came with them were partially burnt and too hot to eat. And finally the entire bottom of my son's pizza, which came out first, was burnt. Annie did her best to fix our issues. It seems the kitchen has quite a few kinks to work out when processing the orders. Also they have staff waiting to pick up the food as it comes up and that staff didn't know what food went with what person and what plates went together. Two of the five people at our table liked their food - the steamed lobster and the linguini with clam sauce which was a special order. Wait until the kitchen staff gets things figured out before going here.

Glad you opened – My husband and I visited "Tavern at Wrentham" for the 1st time since they opened. When it was Tom's Tavern we always went there and was sad when they closed. So,to our surprise Doug the new owner opened up making this place bigger and better. The menu had some of our old favorites with a lot of new items. We went on Saturday at 5:00 Memorial Day weekend. The place was still quiet so we sat right down. Doug greeted us when we walked in and a few minutes after we were seated he came by again to welcome us. Service was good the prices are right & portions sizes good. We will be making the tavern our new local stop.

We walked out also – My wife and I went to the Tavern. We waited for a hostes to seat. After 15 minutes we walked out. We decided to go back in though. Glad we did once we figured out thear odd way of seating. You need to go to the middle of the bar were the balloons are. We were seated fairly quickly. I ordered a prime rib sandwich it was very good and my wife got the pizza it was excellant. The service was good and our food came out 15 minutes after it was ordered. The prices were very resonable. A bonus to all this is Scott Brown was there for dinner and made the rounds to the tables and said hello to everyone. which was nice of him. I hope they get the whole seating thing figured out. Great food, good prices I think they will do alright. 8 out of 10

Can't tell you how the food is - we walked out – Went on the 2nd day open. I understand that kinks are still being worked out but I will not be returning. I wish I could say how the food was but we walked out before they sat us. Went in for a table for 2 - the hostess who was no where to be found half the time because there wasn't really even a hostess stand told us 20 minutes. It had been just under an hour and we hadn't been seated yet. About 30 min into our wait she asked for our name again looked at her list and said they were just waiting for a table on the side to open because they were little tables - looked like they were seating all of the big parties. When it was almost an hour wait I asked the hostess again - looks like we didn't even move on the list. People were getting seated who were there for far less time. I would not go here again. After we waited an hour we ended up walking out. Not a good first impression!
