Yuppy Snobs!. Have you ever met a yuppy snob with dread locks that thinks he is a hippy? No? Well head down to texas hippy connection! These guys try everything to bring in customers EXCEPT good business practices. Their prices are shocking (high). The smelly hippy wanna-bes act like they are better than you and lie about their owner to make him sound cool. Trust me. That fat slob isn't cool. There are many head shops close to THC that deserve your business more than THC. Don't believe the hype!
TERRIBLE and overpriced!. Semi nice people but they overprice everything! I went and bought a hookah from them and they guy said he would "give me a great deal on one!" A tiny hookah for $85 but when I found the exact one online with 2 hoses and in better condition BRAND NEW, it was $55! He also ripped off my sis in law who went to buy a hose from him a few months ago. Not going there again. I'm happy to drive further for people who don't scam.
WOW Love the new head shop !!!. I was shocked when I walked into the new building on Nasa 1 in Seabrook. It's the big 2 story green & purple building, and they have an outdoor patio. The glass gallery upstairs was outrageous, can't wait to start Christmas shopping there! Everyone has got to check it out...........
Poor business standards and practices.. Just seems a little out dated perhaps, and not the best location. Its kind of tucked behind a building in an old looking strip mall that has seen better days. If you drove past quickly at 45 mph (posted speed limit) you can easily miss it. My suggestion is to find another of the several down the road a few miles. Unless your just interested in seeing how some head shops are different in Texas this one can be skipped.
Great headshop... THC is one of the nicest headshops that I've visited in the clear lake/surrounding area. There is a wide variety of products, competitive prices, a VERY friendly staff, and all sorts of unique glass. If you're looking for a new piece of glass, and you want ART, not the same piece that everyone else has, you have to visit THC. I've been in the shop a few times, and every time, the guys/gals that are there are always very friendly, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable. These guys really know their products well and will also give recommendations if you seek their advice. I can't think of anything that could make this place better!
THC is the "Cheers" in Houston. The Hippie Connection is the Headshop if you're looking for great variety, integrity in products and outstanding customer service. Not your typical headshop, it's a place where the staff treats you like a friend and they have a great supply of "Mindcense" in several flavors, which is an outstanding newcomer in the incense market. A Trip to The Hippie Connection is well worth the trip for those outside the Clearlake area. This is the Best little headshop in Texas where Hippies can Connect!
